"why did you bring Anna here?" Max asked "she doesn't need to spend her time in a hospital room watching her older sister sleep involuntarily." he was still watching his family members in side. before saige could answer his question max said "before you ask her to marry you, you better do the right thing and ask Dad Uncle Chase and I." he said it was an old tradition to as the father of the girl if you could marry her before asking her your self. "that way there will be no question about if she says yes. though I'm sure she will." then max rolled up the truck window and put his feet in the seat next to him his back now to Saige.

"I brought Anna here because she asked me to. And plus, She is old enough to come here and be with her family instead of home not knowing whats going on." Saige said smiling slightly. "Of course I'll talk to your dad uncle and you before asking her. Its a family tradition for us to..... My dad did it when he wanted to marry my ma. But.. its a pretty old tradition." Saige said before max closed the truck window. Saige just got pretty angry and wanted to smash the window open but instead he went back inside and sat down in the farthest corner away from everyone.

anna went slid off of her dads lap when saige sat in the corner away from every one. she went over to him and pulled on his hand. "sit next to sage. i think it would make her wake up faster." she said looking at him with pleading eyes. she keep tugging on his hand.
Max watched his family and smiled when anna went to saige but wondered why saige had sat farthest away from Sage. the girl he climbed to care for.
"please" anna begged.

Saige looked down at anna smiling. He was surprised that she thought he would make sage wake up faster if he was next to her. "Aww kiddo.. Okay." He said picking her up with one hand and grabbing his chair and moving it over near the bed. He sat down, pulling anna to her lap and layed one of his hands on Sage's hand. He had never seen someone he loved so hurt. Besides Jack that is but still... Jack was never unconscious. He was always covered in bruises and scars from his life on the streets.

anna smiled as saige moved closer to her eldest sister. she watched her sister for awhile before drifting asleep in saige's lap.
max walked in side about an hour after the talk he and saige had shared it was starting to get dark every one was half asleep or already asleep. he sat down on the floor in the same corrnor saige had first ben in.
around three in the morning saige began to regain consisnes. by this time sages onlyfamily members who where awake were her dad and uncle. even max had fallen asleep waiting.

Saige watched as the many loved ones in the room had began to fall asleep. Saige knew that Sage knew he would be awake since he could stay up and not by tired. Even if it had been days since he had slept. it wasnt like he needed sleep or anything because he didnt. With him being a vampire and all he did sleep. He sometimes needed it. But when he had gotten used to the time change and gotten much sleep the whole day, he sat there holding anna, keeping her warm as he noticed that sage was begining to regain conciousness. "Thank god." Saige said before he smiled a little and caressed sage's cheek.

Anna stirred a little when Saige spoke and her father woke up. "Whats going on," The two asked quietly and tiredly at the same time.
sage's eyes slowly opened and she looked around she saw saige who was holding a sleepy Anna and smiled meekly. then her eyes landed on her uncle who she recognised but didn't remember what his name was. it was the same story for her aunt and older brother. then she saw her sleeping mom and her tired father ,"where am i?" she asked, "whats going on?"

"nothing is going on at the moment anna. I think sage will wake up in a bit." Saige told anna quietly. And sure enough, Sage woke up just a little later. Saige could tell she didnt know much. He set anna down so that anna could hug her sister and he headed for the door. He needed some air, Alot of air at that. It wasnt like he meant to.

Max had woken up just as saige had gotten up and wondered what he was doing. He followed Saige outisde silently, trying not to wake those who were asleep

Anna hugged her sister and her father smiled with relief clear in his eyes. as Sage asked "where is Saige going? and who is that man that fallowed him out the door?" she tried to prop her self up on her elbows but then realized she had a cast on her right arm.
"Do you want to sit up honey?" her father asked quietly as to not wake his wife and siblings. Sage nodded still confused. "Your at the doc.s" he answered one of her many questions. "you fell off one of the new horses. but your okay now."

Saige sat down in the grass outside the house watching around as an occasional car walts by but otherwise the streets were as deserted as a dessert itself. Max sat down beside him wondering what was going on.

Meanwhile inside, Anna was looking over at the door wondering why saige had left. Mr. Tyler was trying to help Sage sit up by propping a few pillows behind her back. It failed a few times.

Anna went outside to see where saige had went and when she saw her brother and her sister's boyfriend sitting in silence he sat down on max's lap and whispered. "Is everything alright buh buh?
