Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Awesome, even though we're still in the negatives Adebola thought to herself. Ade stepped back a few feet away from the boy, so that he wouldn't fly backwards for being so close. Ade then took out her wand and pointed it to the boy making sure that she positioned it correctly, she didn't want anything bad to happen. " Are you ready ? " she asked the gryffindor boy.

Well, it hadn't been so bad the first time, so Andrew didn't figure anything really horrible could go wrong. He shrugged, rather nonchalantly, and said, "Yeah, sure. Go ahead."

As he figured it, the worst thing he could do is land rather ungracefully and look like a huge prat, but, well, that wasn't the first time he'd ever experienced that, and he had learned that those sorts of moments in life seemed to just happen to everyone rather randomly to keep one's humility in check.

Then a new thought entered his mind. He began to wonder what the heck would happen if he sat his auror/guardian on his butt. Might serve him right for deserting Andrew. He began to get a flicker of a mischievious thought. Hm....maybe Hogwarts wouldn't find out if he'd used magic away from the school. Maybe, he could get away with it. He could almost feel evil little horns growing on top of his head. He rarely ever felt like mischief, but when he did, he usually could manage to find some. This new stuff might very well be a lot of fun outside the classroom too.

Ade was surprised he didn't feel any hesistation that a girl he didn't even know was going to use a speel on him, but whatever. Here I go Adebola thought to herself. " Stupefy ! " Adebola said pointing her wand at the boy.

The spell had been fairly well cast, actually. It tossed Andrew to the floor, not with as much force as the professor's spell had had, but well, it had served its purpose. He got up and brushed himself off and picked up his wand. " Nice shot," Andrew said, managing a smile at her.

He was still wondering if he could manage to practice a bit so that he could set his nincompoop of a guardian on his can the next time he was forced to go home for a visit. He had been doing some extra studying on DADA spells and reading some of his classmates' charms textbooks, and looking up spells in the library. He had been assembling quite a little useful notebook of things.

He was also hoping that Professor Wilson was not enough of a leglimens to know that, for the first time, Andrew was seriously consdering getting back a bit with the idiot who had said all the right things to make Andrew believe he wanted to be his guardian and then just had, as far as Andrew was concerned, vanished into thin air to chase some stupid woman. Somehow with men, it always seemed to be about a woman. Andrew was starting to like girls, but he had decided he was not, not, not going to chase after them like his so-called father figures had done.

''Good, that was a satisfactory demonstration. Ten points for Gryffindor. Now, Nye and Laurisi, please do step forward. It is your turn to practice the spell on each other. Then, Burns and Dawn, and finally Paul and you with a lot of names... I do not remember. Also, if someone else isn't ready, you are free to step out and demonstrate. Now, do hurry up, we do not have much time'', he said.

(DEADLINE: Sunday, which is when I am finishing the lesson, this has, partially due to myself, but also due to the majority of you, taken too long, and we have a lesson plan to do)

Leanne was late for who knows which time today so she hurried up the stairs so she would at least show her face if nothing else. "Sorry i am really really late Professor Wilson." she said as she sat down and waited to see what other students were doing or actually what she was supposed to do. As she saw most of them were holding their wands she did the same not really sure who to stun considering everyone was paired-up.

((actually James, this is an issue in all your classes.

You need to move it along, not them, if someone's not replying fast enough, just skip them and ask someone who's active, or do generalisations, if it's going slow it's your job, not their's to speed it up...))

''Sorry, a dragon? Thorfin, is that something you've dreamed or are you on drugs?'', he said, going to the window of his classroom. He opened it and looked up. He could neither see nor hear anything. But still, the class was over, it had been ruined. He closed the window. ''Those of you who believe the Junkie at the door, follow him to the dungeons... those of you who don't... class dismissed'', he said, returning to his office.
