Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Lesson 5 - Basic Level Empty Lesson 5 - Basic Level

Post by William Winston McCoy Sat Dec 11, 2010 11:24 am

Another school year, another bunch of new and old students... Every year the same, but every one of those years he enters these classrooms with a smile on his face and joy in his heart because of the classes and the opportunity to teach new wizards and witches what he knows. The lesson plan and the working methods are still the same, the classroom is still empty... but the latter will soon change. Professor McCoy took his seat at the front desk and waited, scrolling through papers.

Xemnas walked in the transfiguration classroom. This was one of his most favored classes,he just loves to transform objects. He had noticed that today he would be learning snufflifors,he had already known what this spell does.He was very interested in this spell as he read it once in a book he used to have.Snufflifors turns objects into rats Xemnas remembered in his head.He was now prepared for this class.

As Hitame walked into walked into the transfiguration classroom she noticed that Xemnas was in there. Huh, guess i'm second in the class. I hope this lesson will be something i can remember the answers to. She walked up next to Xemnas not sure if she should talk to him.

Finally she decided that she wouldn't talk to him because he looked deep in thought.Hmmm.... now if i remember right we should be learning about snufflifors. And snufflifors turn objects into rats, i think..? Oh, i can't remember, why do i have to be such a scatter brain? Well i think that was right so i'll find out when everyone else gets here.

As she bounced down the halls, Philippa continued bite into the crimson apple that she’d picked up at the breakfast table that morning. Her hair had been pulled up into a messy bun and curly locks of her hair had been left to hang around her face. She was wearing her trademark, clunky, cherry red boots and today had picked some cerulean-blue socks that rose up over her thighs. She was a stone’s throw away from boycotting skirts all together. She already refused to wear the stockings they had to wear, preferring her thick socks that lay in her drawers, but the skirts were really beginning to drive her up the wall. Maybe she’d cut it up and tie it to her bedpost or something. She needed to practice sewing. Perhaps after the decimation she’d put patches on it.

Philippa wasn’t good at stopping herself and as a result, flew into the door of the Transfiguration classroom. An exclamation of “Merlin’s Beard!” left her mouth and her hand flew to her forehead which had made contact with the wood. Mumbling to herself, Philippa opened the door. She stepped inside and took another bite from her apple before closing the door. Her head didn’t hurt as much as it should have done but her torso had taken much of the impact. Despite the slight ache in her body, Philippa brightened upon seeing her professor. She dropped her hand from her head and hurried down the aisle to take her seat stopping only to say, “Good Morning Professor!” before taking her seat.

Lesson 5 - Basic Level Empty Re: Lesson 5 - Basic Level

Christmas Holiday had been fun for many people. Some people got to hang around their bestest friends and have huge holiday parties every day until they were so worn out that they were crashing on a chair at the dining room table. Others, Such as Aurora, spent their whole entire christmas holiday fighting with people and staying in the hospital. There was maybe 1 or 2 days that she wasnt in the hospital that she coudlnt remember any more. But now that Christmas holiday was over, You'd expect everything to be normal. Exams coming up, Teachers putting pressure on children, And kids spending ever second of their days studying unless it was a weekend.

But for many people, This year wasnt the same as past years. For one, There werent only teachers putting the usual load of pressure on kids by giving them massive homework and speeches about how if they dont do good on exams they wouldnt ever get to follow their dreams. There were the Death Eater teachers who, instead of putting pressure on students, taught some students to become as bad as they were and harassed some of the students who were the weakest of all.

The injured ones.

People, Like Aurora, who had gotten Injured badly over the past few weeks. Those were the kind of people who were the main targets for Deatheaters these days. Aurora herself was already a Target to Death Eaters before she had gotten injured because of the fact that she was thought of as a seer. Even if it wasnt true, There would always be someone using her because of the special powers that she beheld. Usually it was some random adult that had heard about her. Either that or it was a teacher that she hadnt known was a death eater. Aurora actually barely remembered which of the teachers were death eaters and which were not.

Many thoughts ran through Aurora's head as she walked into the classroom that day. Not only the fact that she was going to her second favorite class. (trust me she was thinking about transfiguration in the back of her head) But she was also thinking about how everything had changed for her since she had gotten hit by that car just weeks before. It had changed so much in her life that you couldnt count them all.

"Hello Professor" Aurora said that morning before she went to a desk in the back row and slung her pack onto the back of her chair. She hadnt always done this. she used to just sit there wit her stuff on the floor beside her. But now, Aurora slung her bag on the back of her chair, Her wand in her pocket just incase. She didnt get anything out of her bag unless she needed it for something. That was how she was now. Different.
