Stephany sat in a chair hiden in a cornor of the library. she had her face barried in a book that she had brought with her when she came to hogwarts. the book infact had never been published to the public. It had been writen by stephanys mother just befor she was murdered. From when she was old enough to read she keep the book close to her.

Brienne came into the library clutching Stanley's diary. She suspected that Stanley hadn't committed suicide because of some Slytherins that teased him. She knew better than that. It was most likely something else, and she'd scour the diary looking for it.

She sat at a table and got out a pencil to underline passages, and to write them down in the notepad. She'd interpret them afterward. She noticed a girl in the corner, a Hufflepuff. She never saw many Hufflepuffs in the library, except Luna. Speaking of Luna, she was at the same table she was.

Stephany had noticed the girl come in and naturally tried to disappear though it was practically impossible. her hands started to shake as she turned the pages of the book hoping the girl didn't see her let alone try talking to her. "though at least its not another guy"she thought "right? she won't be like that guy years ago. will she?" though stephany couldn't help but be scared to death of every person who was close enough to see her.

Brienne and Luna thought it odd that the girl was hiding behind the book she was reading. At least, trying to.

Luna strode over to the girl in the corner.

"Hello, I'm Luna-Lorrie, are you okay?" She held out her small hand and tried to look as non-threatening as possible. Being a Hufflepuff, that was easy enough for her, not that she'd be a threat anyway because she was a first year.

"y-yeah," Stephany stuttered quietly "I-I'm f-fine." still shakeing a little. 'she seemes nice so why am i still so scared.. she is not the one that hurt me she is nothing like them' stephany though. "I-i'm Steph-Stephany" then reached out with her shakey hand to shake lunas hand.

Luna shook Stephany's hand gently, "It just seemed like something was wrong, because you're shaky. Would you like a hug?" Luna was very affectionate towards others, and it showed in her face and actions.

"You look like you could use a friend, I'd like to be your friend". She smiled softly and opened her arms in preparation to hug.

Stephany had closed her book and held it close to her. "i-i've n-never h-huged a-anyone b-before," she wispred still stuttering. she was extremly shy and hardly ever talked and when she did it was always a wisper and she always stuttered even if she had known the person all her life though there isn't really any one she has known her whole life. and there were once three people she had huged though two of them were decesed and she didn't know where the third was at.
she had never had a friend befor and had no idea waht being friends with someone would be like

Luna hugged Stephany tightly, "Whatever is wrong, it's going to be okay. Trust me, I've been through a lot too, I lost a parent and my other one refuses to take care of me". She smiled, "It's always great to have a pal. How about it? Will you be my pal?"

Brienne looked over, "I'll also be your pal if you'd like."

"o-okay I-I g-guess," she mummbeld "i n-never have had a f-freind or a p-pal. I t-tend to s-stay to m-my s-self."she keep the book close to her the whole time holding it tight the shakeing had almost stoped as the girls talked to her.

"We'll help bring you out of your shell, as well. We have a friend that can also help, he's able to make anyone feel at home anywhere at any time" Brienne said as she also came over. Her wolfish ears were going in all directions and her tail wagged.

"Jeez, these robes are warm! Anyone else find it warm too?" Luna said.
