Jack thought for a second and then remembered something her uncle had told her. He had always said there was a reason birds sang. That music had calming natures and even birds that did not sing knew that as a general rule.

She nodded and called above the noise. "Yeah! Music! It calms birds down!" She began to hum Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, but she could barely hear herself. She put her wand to her throat and said "Sonorous." Her voice magnified and the sounds of humming filled the tower. Some of the owls began to settle and she continued humming.

Andrew quickly walked away fromt Jack as she was humming and then tried to get some of the owls back in their cages. After getting aout 5 in their cages, one owl flew down and scraped him on the arm. "Ow!" he exclaimed taking a look at his arm. His shirt had been torn and was bleeding only a little bit. "Keep humming!" he yelled so she could hear him, as he began to put away the owls.

Jack stood shakily, humming louder but more melodically and calmly all the while, hearing the strains of music in her head. One hand gripping her wand, she used the other to scoop up the calmer owls and assist them into their cages. She glanced over at Andrew's arm but kept humming. More and more owls were settling on the windowsill or flying back to their cages as she hummed.

Andrew jumped a few times, trying to grab one of the freaking out owls. It wouldn't earn him an 'O' in Care of Magical Creatures, but it was practical and effiecent. After grabbing one of the snowy owls, it began to peck at his face, which forced Andrew to throw the owl inside it's cage, and letting it go wild. He looked up and saw only a few more disturbed owls and sighed in relief. "It's alright," he said calmly feeling exhausted "theres only a few more left."

Jack continued humming awhile after and then pulled the wand from her throat, muttering "Quietus." She looked around; maybe two or three owls were still flapping around, but even so they were doing so half-heartedly. Without all of the ruckus from the other owls, it was calm enough that they could begin to relax. Jack turned to Andrew and sucked in a breath. "Ouch! You got scratched up." She quickly checked herself. Apart from a few shallow cuts on her hands and arms, she was fine.

"Yeah, but I'm alright," he said looking up again to see the owls still frantically flapping around still. "That was scary," he said looking back down at Jack and had relief strechted out on his face. "Once again, the owls begin to prove me wrong. Are you alright? You got scratched as well." He pulled out his wand and aimed it at his wounded and muttered "Ekipsky". The small wound then patched itself up and was like nothing had happened. "Need healing?" he offered not knowing if she was good at healing spells.

Jack shook her head. The scratches didn't hurt and weren't even really bleeding. She rather liked letting her wounds heal naturally, as long as they weren't life changing or anything, so that she could remember these moments. She expected a few scars, but she felt that it always showed off her experiences. "Nah, I'm good. Don't hurt a bit."

"Alright," he said nodding and then pocketing away his wand in his jean pocket. "Any idea on what might've spooked them? It sounded like an eagle of some sorts, but bigger." Andrew might've had an idea about what it was, but how could a hippogriff get to Hogwarts undetected? No matter what it was, it sure did cause a lot of trouble and disturbance. "Well that's one story that would be pretty fun to tell."

Jack glanced out the window, bothered about the strange noise that had caused the commotion in the first place. She nodded and said vaguely "Yeah...It's not exactly something that happens every day, now is it." She slowly turned away, her eyes still holding onto the sight before looking back at Andrew.

She shook her head. "What the heck was that? It did not sound like a bird or something around here..." She couldn't decide if it sounded more like a thestral or a hippogriff. Whatever it was, it was out of place.

"Noooo idea," he said going highed up in the building. Without even holding onto his gun, he suddenly turned invisible and began to climb up to the roof an looked around. There was nothing there except-. Andrew then fell down the ladder and landed on his back, going back to visbility. "Ow!" he groaned trying to get rid of the sudden ringing noise. He then began to sit up slowly and said "I'm okay!"
