Jack shrugged. "Sure, anything to fill up the gaping hole that is my summer schedule." She laughed. "That sounds fun. You ride a motorcycle?"

"Yeah, I just got it recently," he said nodding his head "I got my liscense to ride a motorcycle a few months ago, so I decided to go get one." His dad had always been a car nut, so Andrew had always wanted the best type of vehicle. He hadn't worked on his bike yet, but when he did, it would most likely be 1% percent better. "It's a really old model, but it was top of the line back in 2010."

Jack nodded. "Older things are always better. I have a '64 Ford Comet. Basically ancient but equally awesome." She grinned. "That's cool though."

Andrew chuckled as she said the type of car she had, and was actually impressed. He had also wanted to start collecting old cars and fix them up, unlike most of his family, who would just drive and sell. "If you want me to fix the car up," he offered beginning to think of the basic specs of the car "I know a thing or two about cars."

She shrugged, smiling. From the amused look on his face, he knew what kind of car she was talking about. "I fixed it up when I got it, but since it is pretty much a disaster on wheels it's always falling apart. I guarantee that if I were to go to you house, you would end up fixing it four or five times in a few days." She laughed. Her car was not the greatest, but it was hers. Her Uncle Chip had not even chipped in with it. she had raised her own money and it was the one thing that exclusively belonged to her.

"More like 10 to 12 times a day," he boasted smiling and chuckling. Andrew had taken a course of learning the insides and outs of a car in a rec center, back when school was over in his second year. By his fifth year, he had learned all he could know and felt confident that he could fix that car and add some new features, yet he knew he shouldn't be so cocky. He hadn't earned a degree or anything, he was just tutored.

Jack laughed. "Wow! You do know what kind of car it is." She grinned. Even if her Comet always seemed to be messing up, it was still rather reliable. And all of its usual problems she knew how to fix. It just overheated a lot and things came loose, but it was the perfect fit for her. She glanced out at the window and saw the Quidditch pitch. "Oh, I'm going to try to get a Nimbus this summer. My Comet 260, the broom anyway, is reliable and all, but not just up to speed with the others." Hmmm...She was the only person she knew with two types of outdated Comets...Amusing.

"Why don't you just get a Firebolt?" he asked looking out towards the Quidditch field as well, curious on her choice of a broom. He had never met someone who wanted an older type of broom, as everyone else had wanted the Firebolt or a Nimbus broom. "It'd be a lot more reliable on the field," he said turning towards her now. He then crossed his arms, which seemed to be an old habit he had grown into.

She shrugged. "If I buy it, I need help from my Uncle Chip and I don't like to put him out." She smiled, because of course there was never just one reason. "Plus all these older brooms have a few tricks up their sleeves that the newer models have neglected. They have special qualities that you won't find anywhere else."

"I like the fast and the furious," he smiled and shrugged. He had never thought of the older brooms having special qualities, but then again, all Andrew had ever flown was a Nimbus 2000 and his Firebolt. There were still a lot of other brooms that could have different sets of handling or abilities or such. "But if you need any help with money or anything, I could help, if you want."
