"That little..." Keith muttered to himself, hovering still in the air. His face twisted into a snarl and he flew, straight at the bludger Aurora had hit at him. At the last second he rolled, the bludger whistling past his broom.
He straightened, pumping his fist in the air, and rocketed off towards James. He was facing two problems - an over enthusiastic enemy chaser in the form of Sophia, and a bludger hit by that girl...again. Keith's irritation with her had reached the level where he refused to even refer to her by name.
First things first. Keith lifted his bat in anticipation, meeting the bludger she had hit at James head on. There was a loud crack, and the bludger shot off in the opposite direction, right towards where she was flying.
One annoyance down. Now for number two.
Keith dived, the miraculous force of gravity pushing his broom faster than it could fly on its own. His grip tightened around the wooden handle of his broom until his knuckles were white, and he wrenched himself upwards. Currently, he was directly under Sophia and James. There was a small gap between them. He was aiming for that.
A normal sized person wouldn't have been able to fit through it. It was a blessing then, that keith was not normal sized. he was a first year, and a small one at that. If he flew perfectly, he could hit the gap and throw Sophia off without actually incurring a penalty. He flattened himself on his broom, breathing heavily, and let his beaters bat drop from his hand, falling to the ground below. It was big. It was bulky. it would just get in his way.
"I." He said, eyes blazing, "Own. This. Sky."
he shot in between Sophia and james, whooping like a madman. His thought he felt his shoulder catch her broom's tail, but he could've been just imagining it.
