"You should be Lestrange," Vincent said harshly. As Khaat turned back to Vincent, he laughed, she was really an odd person indeed. "Of course your not. You want the amulet back don't you?"

"Yes. I do. But you knew that already. So lets end this childish bickering. If you honestly want to destroy it as you say you do, then come with me and lets get it overwith. Let's destroy this thing. The only reason I can think of that you would keep it is to keep it for yourself."

Khaat, I really do need that amulet when you get it back. he said lifting his head up again. As soon as I finish with it, if its just charmed and not like that forever I can give it back. If it really is like that, It has to stay with me...

"Khaat, let me be honest with you this time. What I plan to do is take this amulet to the department of mysteries, where we will see whether it can be used for good," he explained. "If it can't I will destroy it. But since you found it, it is your choice what to do with it." With that, Vincent took the artifact carefully out of his pocket and handed it to Khaat.

"Thank you," she said, taking it back. "I see no way whatsoever that it could ever be used for good. And, no offense, but the ministry has had many break in's in the past. I don't trust the security system there. I am going to destroy this. Now, you're both welcome to stay behind or to go with me. It's your choice. I'd rather go alone, but I'm sure neither of you trust me enough that you believe I would actually get rid of this much power forever."

Vincent shrugged. He had given it back for one reason only. "Of course I believe you Khaat, you Lupins have always, acted for the sake of good, instead of the sake of logic," Vincent said. "Do with it as you may. I don't really see the need to accompany you, but I think I should. Not because I doubt you, but because the artifact could be dangerous."

"It is," she admitted. "I already know that much. Well, if nothing else, you can have the pleasure of watching me blow myself up and then being able to be the one to tell my daughter of my demise." She looked at Matt, "Are you coming?"

"I do hope you are kidding Khaat.." Vincent replied, quite annoyed now. "You'd think a person would be a little more thankful to a person who just saved her life..."
