It was early morning hours as Mariana woke up from a good night sleep.It wasn't half past seven yet,but she decided to get up and prepare something for breakfast and some morning coffee.Her grandpa wasn't probably going to be up before 9 and she wasn't sure how long does Arthur sleep.Though she wasn't sure how did yesterday;s airplane flight made him tired.She put on her slippers and a house dress and went to the kitch putting some coffee in the coffee machine.

Arthur had been awake since 6. He was an early bird and would sometimes get up even before 6. He had heard Mariana walking around the house, but he just stood in his room, being amazed about two things. First, the decoration of the house and his room and, second, about the fact that he was in Mexico on a vacation with Mariana. He stood up, put his robe on and walked down to Mariana.

He was her cooking and making coffee. ''Good morning, Mariana. I hope you are not bothering yourself with that coffee for me, because I do not drink coffee.'', he said wanting to warn her. ''So, how are you? Tired after the flight?'', he asked.

Mariana heard something moving upstairs.It was probably a house ghost or someone who woke up early.She yawned silently.She was putting some seeds in Hedvig's cage so she doesn't wake everyone in the house.She poured coffee in a bottle and put it to freeze in the fridge.

Suddenly she heard Arthur's voice. "Oh hello good morning Arty.I hope you liked your room though house decoration is a bit from early 70s." she said as she put toast in the toaster. "Well now when you mention it i forgat to ask do you drink it,but if you're not doesn't matter.My grandpa likes it when it's cold." she said as she heard a crush from the attic.She pretended like she didn't hear it. "No i slept quite well actually.I am surprised you can get up this early after we arrived at midnight." she commented as she heard another crush in the attic. "This ghost is annoying.Hey Charlie keep it down will you!" she said with a loud voice. "So what would you like for breakfast?Though i have to warn you i don't make feasts like they do on Hogwarts." she asked as ghost got silent for a bit.

Arthur looked up as the ghost made Mariana and him aware of his presence. He smiled at it. ''Well, sorry for the coffee, but since your grandfather likes it, I guess it is fine.'', he commented. ''Well, I always get up early. I have been up since 6, but sometimes I have known to wake up even earlier. I guess I am just used to it.'', he said.

He was still standing on his feet and the breakfast question confused him a bit. ''Breakfast!? Oh, gosh... I do prefer to prepare something for myself, I guess you do not have to bother'', he said insecurely. ''But, then again, I doubt you will take no for an answer, therefore... a... sandwich perhaps?'', he asked, insecurely again.

"Oh don't worry about Charlie he is like my own personal Peeves if you know what i mean." she said as the ghost appeared in the kitchen right in front of her.She wasn't bothered jumping since she was used to it. "Well i get up early to prepare breakfast for grandpa,myself and my pets." she said as she put the milk in her cat's bowl.

"You can serve yourself with anything anytime you want.A sandwich it is.Well actually 2 sandwiches i think i am going to make you company." sje said as she flicked with her wand and made 2 sandwiches out of one. "So let me see.Milk,yoghurt,juice?" she said looking in the fridge.

Pets? You have pets?'', he asked. He did not know that. Or he forgot? Nah, he did not know that.

''Well... juice... I do not prefer the two mentioned. I do have a rather specific taste. So... tell me, how is life here... in the house and in Mexico?'', he asked.

Mariana was surprised about the number of things she didn't tell Arthur about her. "Yeah i have 3 pets.My owl Hedvig,a cat called Martha and..." she stopped as there was a fire glow on her left shoulder followed by appearance of her golden phoenix. She jumped a bit. "Flamy how many times have i told you not to do that.." she said talking to him like a mom. "And Flamy who is like you can see a phoenix." she said as the phoenix flew on Arthur's shoulder.

Mariana took the juice and poured it into 2 glasses.She levitated the complete meal on the table. "Breakfast is ready." she said. "Life in Mexico?Well in summer it's very hot and in winter is pleasant.It's not so bad after all.So we are going to have pleasant climat.So what would you like to do first?After you finish your breakfast that is." she asked as she took a seat.Flamy was just standing on Arthur's shoulder trying to pick on his neck.

Arthur looked at the phoenix with an interested look. As he tried to peck on him, he put his finger in front of his beak to war him not to do it. He took a seat. He looked at the sandwich and then at the bird. He cut a part of a sandwich and gave it to Flamy.

''I do hope he likes it. What would I like to do? Well... look around maybe, I do not know. Whatever you want, I shall agree. So, if you are up for showing me around, it would be brilliant.'', he said taking a bite of the sandwich.

"Aww i think he likes you.Oh and be careful he is able of eating the entire sandwich." she advised as Flamy took the part of the sandwich gratefully. "Here give him this." she said calling for a few small pieces of ham from the fridge.

"Well it's going to be a nice day outside so would you like to sneak around the forest or maybe that boat ride or you prefer me giving you a tour of the house untill my grandpa wakes up so you can meet him.Just name it we have a lot of possibilities." she said as she took a bite of her sandwich.

Arthur took the pieces of ham and gave it to the phoenix. ''It seems he does.'', he added.

''Well, what would you like to to the most? Or, to rephrase, what would you recommend?'', he asked.
