Jessicafelt as if something wasn't right but she was fine "Jack wheres Khaat?" she asked feeling it was her that needed help , when he said he'd left her down stairs she slsoly sat up and moved down the stairs she wasn't here "KHAAT!!" she called out now actiouse "jack something is wrong I just know it " she said now pacing the floor.

Even when lunch came and went Jessica didn't seetle till she saw Khaat return "what happened ?"she asked knowing by the look on her face somthing had happened "come with me" she said leading her to their room and sitting her down on the bed "now spill , your face tells me something happened you got me worried now." she fgelt her head spin slightly but ignored it "ether tyou tell me or your father when i bring him in here" she quickly added.

"When I got back from shopping, I took my things back to Hogsmeade, and I didn't feel like myself. I sat down on the bed, and then next thing I knew it was hours later. Honest. I didnt intend on being gone more than a few minutes," Khaat sighed. "If Rob finds out, he will be out of his mind. I'm sure its no big thing, really. But I didn't do it on purpose."

Jessica sat on the bed next to her " its ok " she moved to hug her " you just got to slow, down...wow listen to me " she said chukling as she looked at her "you can't go runing here and there , you had a dizzy spell out shopping too I take it they always come in twos a warning then the actuall , so watch for it next time" Jessica sighed and took her hand "don't worry , I get them too , unfortunaly its part of what we woman have to go threw its your bodys way of talking to you.. listen next time"Jessca looked at her "guess i should take my own advice " she said looking down at her hands then back up to her a smile on her face.

Khaat laughed warmly. It did help to have someone to talk to. "You have no idea how protective Rob got after I almost was killed by trying to destroy that amulet. When he found me that night, I was almost dead. I think it scared the life right out of him. He's promised not to let me out of his sight. I am not so sure I want to tell him about these little spells, or he'll never be able to leave the house to teach a class again. Oh--before I forget, I bought something for you today." She motioned her closet to open, and motioned out a gorgeous blue dress. It was a classically styled dress, very elegant, a wrap around style that would perfectly accent Jess in all the right places. "Here. Every bride needs something new, and something blue. Actually I think the Americans say 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.' So here is the new and the blue. For you--for wearing after the ceremony. From me to you."

Gar suddenly broke out in a massive headache and murmured he was gonna go lay down and stumbled off into his room, bumping along the walls trying not to scream and fell onto his bed clutching his head, waiting for the blissful release of sleep to come.
A...baby? he thought to himself. That can't have made me feel this way...what was it?

Khaat felt searing pain in her head, and clutched her head tightly. "Gar," she said softly. "He's in trouble. I have to go, Jess." She bounced up off the bed, everything spinning. She dropped back down to the bed, waited a second and then got up slower. She fought past her pain to go down the hall to Gar's room. She knocked, but didn't wait for a response. She opened the door and found him in severe pain. "Gar!" she flew to his bed and sat there and laid her hands on his head. "Stop!" she said, exerting a huge burst of healing magic into his head to force the pain to yield to her and to stop, "Enough! No more!" She was not being forceful with Gar, she was, though, being direct and commanding with the pain and forcing it to either completely discontinue or transfer the remnant of it to herself. It had no choice but to give in to her. It would not stop the problem that caused the pain, but it would stop the pain itself.

Gar didn't register the fact that Khaat was there, or the door banging. He was blind, deaf, and without touch or feeling. There was only pain.
One thought did come through his mind: If I'm feeling pain, then I'm not dead.
As the pain disappeared, a total exhaustion settled over him and he fell atop the bed, passed out and breathing hard in his sleep.

Khaat felt aching in her heart as Gar slipped into an exhausted sleep. He had fought a hard battle. She felt his forehead and his cheeks. he was warm from the fighting itself. She conjured a bowl of cool water and a washcloth. She sat with him and, as he slept, she sponged off his face and neck to bring down the heat he was generating, hoping to bring him some comfort. If she'd had her way, she'd have made this young man her own son. She found her heart always warmed by his presence and always feeling like he was a natural part of her family and of her. She didn't know how to ask him, though, and was anxious that if she suggested it, he would be perhaps frightened away from her. So she kept her love for him partly hidden, knowing that somehow he already knew that she loved him. She hoped that when she told him she was pregnant, he would be more than willing to be a really great big brother for her child.

OOC: Okay, it's from a book I read where a person has like really good sight and can see REALLY far away, but if they like don't do it right they get these massive head aches.

BIC: Garulia awoke sometime later, eyes slowly opening as he physically felt the pain behind his eyes still receding. But the head ache was gone for now.
Seeing Khaat, he hugged her.
"Thank you, Khaat, you really saved me," he said, voice barely above a whisper as the memories came rushing back. He had been able to hear and feel, but his eyes had been closed and he had been totally unaware. He patted her still-flat belly.
"That kid you've got growing in you is gonna have a great mom."

OOC: sounds like an excellent gift. maybe you can just apply for it and give it a really cool name like Second Sight or something and call it a really rare gift. I like it--a lot.

Khaat looked at him just a moment, and said, "You have some seer's abilities. I didnt know that. Yes, I am pregnant. Just about six weeks. Well, its mine and Rob's. but then I guess you probably figured that part out. Did you also see that we're engaged?" She showed him the large heart shaped diamond on her left hand. "I haven't told you all yet. But you remember that night where I got hurt so badly in the middle of the night? That's when we found out I was pregnant. I...um...I'm really hoping you'll be a big brother to this new child. I don't know if I'll have another one, but there isn't anyone I'd want more to be a big brother than you."

OOC: this is in reference to a thread you may not have read that is in progress right now. it started in london with the Walking at Midnight thread and progressed to the Dont Do This To Me Now thread where Khaat almost died, and Prof. Dent saved her life. the farm is allegedly after she almost died.
