Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Melody practically burst into the classroom, actually rather gracefully. "Sorry I'm late." She said to the teacher, pushing a long lock of blonde hair out of her face. "My cat and pygmy puff had this disagreement, and I had to stop them from killing each other." She explained, gazing at the teacher with her blue eyes.

Abbey smiled at Khatt's approval, and immediatly began breaking and reassembling the glass over and over. Abbey loved charms, it being one of her best subjects; there was rarely a charm that Abbey didn't get right away. She reassembled her glass one last time. Abbey felt like she had mastered the charm, so she set her wand down and looked around to see how everyone else was doing.

Louis ran into the class panting. He stopped as soon as he entered and quietly took a seat next to Abbey. What'd I miss? he said pulling out his wand and grinning at her.

"We're working on the Reparo charm, " Khaat told the newcomers. "Take a drinking glass and break it--away from your fellow students please, and practice re-assembling it with the Reparo charm."

Abbey smiled at Louis. "Where were you?" she asked, laughing. She broke her glass again and repaired it. "I haven't seen you around in awhile."

Melody nodded, isolating herself from the others and smartly rapping the glass of the wall where it shattered. "Reparo." She muttered, pointing her want at the glass fragments and smiling as they flew back together.

Alice walked to the front of the class and grabbed a glass. She walked back to her desk and set the glass down. She withdrew her wand from a front pocket. She said the charm for breaking the glass,"Waddawasi." The glass exploded and glass shards flew around the desk. She was happy that she said the charm to break it and smiled. She then said, "Reparo" And the glass shards flew back together and formed a perfectly unbroken glass. Alice was smiling again as she whispered the charm to break it once again. She said the Repairing Charm again. She was happy.

"Nice work, All, " Khaat smiled. "Well done. Keep practicing your spell. We shall start on a new spell tomorrow. Be here on time. We shall start promptly. Class dismissed for today." Khaat announced class dismissal, and was pleased with their work.

"Reparo," James said, flicking his wand at the shining shards in front of him. They trembled slightly, as if fearful of what they had been requested to do. James could understand. The nature of the world is chaos- it is easier to break than mend. It's like pushing and pulling- to pull uses more energy, and there is only a limited number of possibilities to pulled. But when it comes to pushing, there is almost an infinite amount of ways of performing the task. One can't pull with back, but pushing is a different story. Similarly, the shards grudgingly reformed the drinking glass that had sat before him moments before. The entire glass shivered, as if shuddering from the ordeal it just underwent.
