''Do I really have to repeat my philosophy about being married and being a person? You are not stupid, Narcissa, do not act that way.'', he said. ''Why do I care? Because you need to be happy. Each person deserves to be happy and if I can do anything to make you happy, then so shall it be'', he then said. He noticed her eyes. He flicked his hand and conjured a handkerchief. ''I think you are going to need this'', he offered it to her, gently.

You will not beak down! Bellatrix said sharply. Narcissa dropped her head into her hands and completely ignored her sister who was telling her to act like a Black or something to that effect. She didn’t know what happiness was for goodness sake how could she achieve it if she could barely identify it!? She just wanted to hide from the world and just maybe live a little. It was right there, all that happiness that she was denied on the other side of the glass so to speak. She could see it but she couldn’t touch it or let alone embrace it. Everything she wasn’t allowed, another child or a broom because a woman wasn’t meant to fly. She couldn’t read her son fairytales and she certainly couldn’t talk to her ‘Mudblood’ loving sister. It was all there on the other side of the glass but she knew it was too late to get to it. An imitation she could achieve but nothing like she wanted. No, it was too late for that.

Narcissa sat back up and took the handkerchief from James. She dried her eyes and pulled her legs up into the chair in a very uncharacteristic move. Narcissa was feeling defeated but instead of hugging her knees she curled her legs underneath her. It would be like a child taking their first steps again. The moment she chose to leave Lucius would be a breath of fresh air. She’d be on her own two feet again instead of stumbling blindly like she’d been doing for years. It would be terrifying for her.

“You must think I’m foolish.” Narcissa whispered, looking down at her hands, not wanting to face him.

Wilson stood up. He was now above her. He raised her head gently so that she could look at him. ''Never, Narcissa, never.'', he said. After a few moments, during which he looked at her, he let her head go and returned to his sofa. ''This will probably be my last question, Narcissa, and then I will leave. What are you planning to do now that you have heard everything?'', he asked.

"I'm not sure." Narcissa admitted. "I just thought maybe I could wing it y'know? I've always given the Death Eaters a run for their money and I'd like to see them get me now." she laughed a little and could feel the plan forming in her mind. She'd been pretty good at improvising and had done it for many years but could se pull it off with a wand and a few Unforgivables up her sleeve? "No, I think I will just bide my time until I know I can get out for sure. If all else fails I suppose I'll just run."

Wilson stood up. He cleaned his suit a little and returned the tea cup in the kitchen with the wave of his hand. He then took his glasses off and cleaned them with his little handkerchief. He put them back on and turned to Narcissa.

''Not what I had expected from you Narcissa... you have to fight for yourself. I will do my best, but I need your help from the start'', he said with a dose of sorrow in his voice. He had expected a different answer. He then approached her, taking her hand. He bowed down to kiss it and then let it loose. ''Au revoir, madame'', he said and started walking to the door very slowly, giving Narcissa the chance to utter one last reply.

"Wilson, "Khaat could not resist asking, "why did you save me? Can I ask you that, please?

''Simpe, because I did not want you to die. I do not like killing people.'', he said shortly and swiftly. He then turned and gave Narcissa one last, symbolic look and then started walking again.

"No, " she said, quicker than she wanted to. She could hide little now, and she knew the mask was breaking down. "I mean, but if it were necessary, would you do it? Would you kill if it were the only way?"

''Do not theorize Lupin. Would I or wouldn't I kill you is a matter of pure theory and it is useless to theorize without facts. Doing that we twist the facts to git the theory, although we should always twist the theories to fit the facts. Therefore, do not ask such stupid questions.'', he replied once more.

"What I'm asking is would you do it because I asked you to. I gave Narcissa the vial of poison I had. It takes too long and its messy. You could end this a whole lot quicker. It would be a kindness. I do not choose to live like this forever. I'm asking you to. "
