It was a brand new day, and Khaat had decided to work on putting together her nursery for her baby. She first created a door to a bedroom next to hers and Robs, making it adjoining theirs. She had designed a pattern in her head of what she had wanted the baby linens and curtains to look like, so she conjured them in her mind. White fabric, trimmed in sage green, with appliques of flowers, colorful butterflies, ladybugs, cute little ants, and bees. She used a pretty buttery yellow paint on the walls, and had spent hour and hours in London buying baby things--stuffed toys, and mobiles for the crib, a buttery yellow carpet, two sage green upholstered matching rocking chair recliners and a round table in between, with one of her mother's stained glass lamps on the table. The base of the lamp was stained glass too so it would be a perfect nightlight. She'd put a couple of soft white adult sized blankets and pillows in the closet, and had purchased all kinds of baby clothes and diapers and baby things. She had also put a very comfortable couch in the large nursery so that if she had to be up with her baby and wanted to rest, she didn't have to go far. The only thing she did not add, yet, was the crib. She wanted the one Rob was making.
