Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Khaat's House in Hogsmeade--(open) - Page 13 Empty Re: Khaat's House in Hogsmeade--(open)

Post by Miseria Lupin Mon Dec 28, 2009 4:50 pm

Miseria listened to them and again – wordless like she was at the beginning, she stood up and followed both ot them, still holding her cup of coffee. When they were in the study room, Miseria closed the door behind them:“Okay...“ she said quietly. “What's next?“ She looked then at both of them. Did they have some kind of plan. But when she heard Narciccas voice, her face went paler and she looked at Khaat:“You were attacked by Cruciatus?“ she asked with a shocked voice.

"That's an excellent question, Narcissa. And yes, Miseria, I still carry part of it. That's what's making me so sick. I barely remember, just as I was going unconscious, Shacklebolt trying to remove the curse from me. I also know that Wilson says he used a healing spell to try to stop the bleeding from the wound I had. But why I still have part of the curse, I do not know. I was wounded early on with Majere's sectumsempra that hit my shoulder. And then, as I lost blood, things got fuzzy. Wilson threw the cruciatus as I was fading. He was simply tiring of me incomoding him, I think.

"But there's another thing that doubles my concern for your grandchildren. Majere was the biggest proponent for jailing Neos Emof, who I believe firmly is another poor cursed soul--just a 16 year old boy. Majere is responsible for the largest part of the prosecution that sentenced him to Azkaban. I never thought I would see the day when we jailed children in Azkaban of all places. And--here's another thing--Majere is just a puppet for Diggory. Nothing more. With this kind of ruthlessness loose in Hogwarts, it has truly lost its ability to be a safe refuge for any child. That's why I was willing to die to shield Shacklebolt. He was the only hope for Hogwarts that I could see. Wilson is a traitor to every child in that school, clearly."

"Fools the lot of them." Narcissa said with a scowl. "They have no idea what they are doing at all. As long as Diggory has his puppet he doesn't have to do a thing. He has Hogwarts under his power but he fails to remember who his superiors are. The Ministry is under Death Eater control but I think Diggory has forgotten this."

"Sixteen year old children do not belong in Azkaban no matter what they've done. Ne'Os is nothing more than a child and doesn't deserve that punishment. Hogwarts will not be safe as long as Majere is in control and by association Diggory's."

OOC: Not great but it'll do.

"Precisely," I said, "Actually, it seems to me that the death eaters and the Order, and several other factions, have that in common right now. We want Diggory out of the ministry. He's just stupid enough to be extraordinarily dangerous, along with those who work for him. It's too bad the factions that could benefit from having him out of power can't work together to gain that end. But, then again, as I said, perhaps I am not thinking all that clearly right now."

Miseria bit her lip, saying nothing. Since they were using forbidden spells on humans – espessially on womans was already rude. And though, Khaat was only trying to protect Shacklebolt, who tryied to solve those problems at school. Listening, she looked at Khaat, eyes widened:“They sended 16 year old boy to Azkaban?“ she asked in disbelief. That was nonsence! How could minstry do such thing? So they can do the same to her, since she had already dueled with the professor, Majere's friend.

When Narcissa started talking, she nodded. They were fools, indeed. Huge ones, to be certain. “But there must be something what we could do,“ she said. What about Order of the Phoenix? Could they send some help for them if Majere is taking over this school again? Miseria had already read School's history and almost the same thing happened few years ago, only the ones who had taken over the school were Death Eaters, Not ministry, however, Umbridge tryed to make Hogwarts better.

She sat down on a little chair and looked at both of them. She didn't about this Ministry stuff, although, she had read about this Diggory's illness.

"It is not a new fight, unfortunately, "Khaat said. "We have done this for generations now, and all kinds of people die in the process. I was there during Emof's trial. His illness, I think, made him look more guilty than he really is, but then that happens when someone lives with any sort of a curse." Her voice got softer, now sharply aware of how much her beloved uncle must have suffered without complaining. She glanced up at Narcissa, who seemed somehow to understand so much while saying so little. "This happened when I was a student at Hogwarts, and when my parents were students too. It just doesn't end. I don't want generations, like your children or grandchildren, Miseria, to have to fight for their lives like we do. I am quite sure the Order and the other organizations are well aware of the problems, but I'm starting to think that working together would be better off than trying to meet the same ends, each organization on its own. In the meantime, as long as I'm around, Emof will have a friend."

Again rolling her hair around her finger, she turned her face away. “But if Majere will become the Headmaster, all the students will become mostly slaves! He want's to make Hogwarts perfect! Hah!“ This school was perfect! And those student's death's and kidnappings were only Death Eater's job. Or did the Ministry do all the harm? So people wouldn't trust Shacklebolt anymore? And then they said that Emof is guilty... Miseria sighed in disapointment. These were only theories.

"VIncent Majere has taken over as headmaster. Nothing we can do about that right now, much as I hate to say it. I'm not sure he's going to try to make the school perfect. I think he's going to try to make us all follow whatever twisted objective Dae Diggory wants." Khaat noticed her necklace emitting a very soft green glow. She frowned. It only did that around werewolves. Evidently, though, for some reason, it didn't perceive Miseria as a threat. "You're a werewolf, aren't you?" Khaat asked her, curious about why her necklace had been reacting to her all this time and she hadn't noticed before.

(A lot to catch up... :-S But, never mind now... I shall... well. continue from now)

''I see you do enjoy my company'', Wilson replied as Narcissa sat beside him. He then took another sip, he had not even listened to that earlier conversation, too many people. ''Yes Lupin, I was the one who attacked you with the Cruciatus spell and also the one who healed your wound and saved your life. The reason I used that cure was that you were to naive and stupid. And I am by no means a traitor. I shall repeat this one last time... people do not change. If you deduce that I am a traitor, your choice, I will not interfere.'', Wilson replied extremely calm.

''Majere will be a suitable replacement, even though he comes from the Ministry. The Ministry itself is something I despise and something where I would not go while I am alive, therefore, I do not care much about that. But Majere will be suitable, even though he comes from... there'', he added.
