Varod punched the back of the couch.
"I don't give a damn about you getting married!" he shouted. "I give a damn that you cheated on me, lied to me, and choosing publicity! Remember the ultimatum I gave you? Guess which one you chose."
Then he burst out crying and through a shoe through the wall and into his room.

"I warned you Varod." she said looking at him. "I didn't chose publicity over you!" she said looking at him moving closer to him. It was taking everything she had not to burst out crying along with him. "I can't help it that my mother made me go out with people and one of them I began developing feelings for." she said and it was the truth. "I told you she was making me do that and you said you didn't care!"

"Yeah, because I thought you loved me!" Varod shouted back. When she started scooting towards him he shouted "get away! I...I don't want to hurt you...I dunno if I'll flip or not. Please...just...don't get closer to me than you have to..."
He collapsed and curled up into a ball on the couch.

"I do love you!" she burst out looking at him as if she couldn't even believe what she said. "I just need someone right now who I know will be there for me and not because of the fact that they like to fight or are waiting for me to run away with them." she looked saddened but suddenly leaned down over him and kissed his lips.

Varod pushed her away.
"Oh yeah? I was with you because I loved you. I'm not gonna ever, ever, ever be with you just so you can leave me again!"
Still crying, he jerked his wand at the door and it flung open.
"You don't love me. You don't know what love is. I was ready to die for you," he said, the crying stopped and his voice cold.

She wasn't hurt that he had pushed her away. She hadn't even known why she had done that. "you have no clue what you are talking about." she said opening the locket she was wearing around her neck. It was one that her cousin had given her that could hold four pictures. On one side was her and Cristina and on the other was Varod and Godric. "If I don't know what love is then why is it that I never take this off or remove your picture?"

Varod shrugged.
"I don't know and I DON'T CARE, got it, get it, good," he retorted angrily. "I don't want to be in your stupid locket! I don't even wanna be in your life anymore! All you EVER do is break my heart!"
He passed out then.

Christy felt bad but there was really nothing else she could say to him. She walked to his room and grabbed a blanket and covered him up leaving the unopened envelope on the coffee table and left.

Varod awoke sometime later and immediately noticed the envelope. Opening it, he read the wedding invitation and started crying again.
"I HATE MY LIFE!" he shouted at the empty room and punched the coffee table. It cracked in two.
