Varod's New Apartment

Varod smiled.
"I'd make things interesting again. I have a knack for that," he told Christy. "I wouldn't leave you. Ever."
He kissed her lightly.
"Never in a million years..."

Or let me leave you. she thought as she kissed him back. "And how would you make things interesting again?" she asked looking at him curiously as she sat down on the sofa.

"I dunno, wing it like I always do," Varod replied, a mischeivious grin on his face as he sat next to her. "You think too much. Just go with the flow, make decisions based on the moment, do what your gut tells you."

"Well I've only had every moment of my life planned out." she said rolling her eyes. "I'm not like you who can wake up and decide then what they want to do for the day. I have to have it planned out. I don't like things to be the way you like them and you know it. I like organization, not chaos."

Varod kissed her again.
"But my ways more fun. I hate, utterly HATE, organization."
He guestured at the mess that was his apartment.
"If this were organized, I wouldn't find a thing."

"Well if it was at least clean I wouldn't want to scream everytime I saw it." she remarked looking at him. She hated that part about him. She didn't understand how someone could be that messy. Even her cousin, though disorganized he was, was never messy in the least. Everything had its place he just didn't care where it was. "One day you're going to wake up and all of this is going to be clean."

"And within five minutes it would be back the way it was," Varod replied, smirking at her. "Well, I'm glad you like your present!"
He hugged her tightly.
"I'm glad you're here."

"Me too." she replied looking at him, "And in five minutes if it was back to the way it was, especially if I cleaned it like muggles did then I'd kill you without hesitation. You know I don't clean like that much less think about it."

Varod shrugged.
"Death is but the final adventure, and I've had just about all of them," he said, smiling and giving her a quick kiss. "It's never held fear for me. I just wanna live before I die. No one seems to understand that. Do you?"
He looked at her questioningly, staring into her eyes lovingly. "You look amazing." And she did. The sun was directly behind her, making her glow.

"When don't I look amazing?" she asked rather vainly to him. She had made a point though. Everytime she was seen, even if she was crying her eyes out or in complete hysterics she was beautiful. Even she knew this. It was probably why so many people didn't like her she figured but didn't think much of it. To her they could think what they wanted, it just made them lower than her by doing so.

"Varod can we talk seriously for a minute and you not flip out?" she asked looking at him her mind drifting to a far different subject. It was one she had been thinking on for sometime but couldn't get the courage up to tell him even if it would break his heart. He still had a right to know.
