Varod's New Apartment

Varod shrugged.
"Sorry," he muttered. "We both thought you were okay with it... I mean, I was actually WATCHING."
"Yeah, so it was like you were with Varod in the first place," Anti reasoned.

"Whatever." she said looking at them crossing her arms. "I can't even stay today anyway." she said looking at him. "I do have to go home unfortunately. I don't want to but I have to."

"Okay, I'm sorry," Varod said quickly. "Before you leave, we need to talk."
He looked at her sternly.
"He knows you're above third in the CoL," Anti said lazily.
"What he said."

"No I'm not." she said looking at him. "I've already been under vertiserum this week I don't intend to go through this again after I went through it with that crazy man they call a headmaster." She sighed, "We've already been through this. If I was col don't you think you'd actually be dead right now?" she said looking at him making a valid point.

"Not really, you've been through a few attempted death attempts that I've been around you," Varod replied stubbornly. "I know you're in it, and I've told you I'm in the Resistance! Or did I? I forget, but anyway, now you know!"
"Smooth, Varod," Anti sneered.

"A few?" she asked looking at him. "Only one that I can recall and she attacked me first." she retorted extemely offended. "Look everyone is entitled to their own opinion." she continued saying. "The fact that I may believe what the COL is doing is right doesn't make me a part of it." she said looking at him. "Yet you still don't believe me. No one does." she sighed, "You know why I went under the vertiserum?" she asked looking at him, "Was so that the headmaster could find out that I was in the Confederacy. Want to know what he found out?" she asked looking at him, "That I have my reasons for feeling how I feel and that I wasn't in the COL." Her voice rang truth. And that was how she wanted it. But then again the Headmaster never did find out she was COL so it was the truth.

"I. Know. You. Are," Varod said angrily. "Look, please, just tell me the truth! I know you're CoL dammit, and I won't turn you in!"
"Just TELL him," Anti said, sounding bored.

Marco strode purposefully to the front door of Varod's apartment. The negative emotions Christy was giving off were definately rising, as was her voice coming through the walls to his astute hearing. He pounded roughly on the door and debated momentarily to wait or not before trying the handle. His desire and romise to protect the heiress of hte minister of Germany was foremost in his mind and he almost just forced his way in as he felt her emtions rise again. "Open up, now Varod, it appears you are the one followed today!" He just could not resist the dig at the other, minor alliance in place or not.

Christabelle heard a familiar voice that called from outside the apartment. It was the only one who knew where she was. She was grateful for the interruption as she ran to the door and answered it. "Marco!" she said throwing herself against her friend. She looked like she was about to cry again, and she had been sure he had heard everything that the two of them had said. "Is everything alright?" she asked looking at him curiously fighting back tears.

"Hey Marco," Varod said, still pissed. "What are you doing here?"
