"We can go, I guess, I ate enough to last me at least till breakfast," Varod laughed, standing up after finishing his food and keeping her hand in his, leading her up and out.
"Well, now, we need to go get changed into black clothes until we get back to my place, then we don't worry about clothes!

"Maybe I don't want to worry about clothes at all." she said looking at him, "You know it wouldn't kill you to take a night off from everything so we can just enjoy each other right?" she asked looking at him as they left the restuarant.

"Not now, sorry," Varod told her. "I have money for dinner, now I need money for the bills. Tomorrow, I promise my whole night will be just you and me."
He kissed her cheek as they walked inside his apartment.

"You know I could easily take care of those bills right?" she said looking at him. To her she had more money than sense. "Besides for all you know I took care of those bills while you were gone today." she said smirking so he couldn't argue with her on it.

"H-hey!" Varod said, incredulously. "Dammit, don't do that! I'm the one that does my work! Just for that you have to wait till tomorrow for me all to yourself."
How dare she! he thought to himself.

She looked at him a little hurt that he was yelling at her and did the only thing that she could think of. She grabbed hold of him and kissed him deeply and passionately. Please let this work. she thought to herself.

Varod broke away, trying not to fall into it.
"Look, it's not that I don't want to, I just want to keep my priorities straight."
Smiling, Varod took off his clothes and quickly pulled on the black ones.
"Do you want to come? You can stay here, I don't mind...I swear, I'll give you ALL night tomorrow."

Her goal wasn't so they could fall into an embrace of passion, just so that she could take his mind off of being mad at her. She frowned as he changed clothes. "Yeah I'll just stay here." she said sighing. "I'm sure theres going to be something on T.V." she said as she moved towards the couch. "Just try not to stay out too long." she said a little sadly that their plans would still be put off for even longer. She picked up the remote and started flipping through the channels rather bored looking.

"Oh, and Christy, don't mess with my civic matters, please? I'd like to show it to everyone that I can make it without schooling, just my talents," Varod told her.
He laughed when she commented about T.V.
"There's never anything good on!" And with that, he was out the door.
Walking around the apartment building, Varod switched on the radio he had on top of a dumpster and listened to the police channel which he tuned to with his wand...

A few hours later, he had another wad of hundreds and it was only 1:00 A.M.
"I'm home, baby! Miss me?"

Christabelle had flipped through the channels for so long that she had finally become quickly bored. It had still been early in the evening but she had managed to find a movie on the television. Having gotten about half-way through it she fell asleep on the couch curled up in a ball by the time Varod got home. "Huh?" she managed to groan in her sleep.
