Aleski Mikkonen wrote:Aleski always hated balls. He wasn't a bad dancer, he just couldn't help feel extremely self-concious wearing fancy clothes and swishing about in front of the whole school. But the prospect of wearing a mask somewhat excited him. Tonight, people may not recognise him and he liked that. Plus, he had a date.
He was incredibly nervous, partly because she was pretty and he hadn't spoken to her much before, and partly because she was a Lestrange. She had family members who would not hesitate to kill him if they found out he had mistreated her, and purely daring to come to a ball with her when he was a Ravenclaw and raised as a half-blood probably counted as mistreatment to them.
His golden hair was tied into a short ponytail behind his mask, which covered his whole face. He had seen it in a dusty old muggle shop one day and fallen in love with it immediately, although it did look rather strange combined with his log, flowing indigo dress robes. He stood by the door, waiting patiently for his date to arrive. He would have waited to walk her to the ball but he had no idea where the Slytherin common room was, and he didn't feel like being ridiculed for his appearance by her housemates tonight.
Aminia was nervous, she was supposed to be meeting someone there, she hadn't been with anyone since Keena, she had seen him in most of her classes and found him rather stunning. She smiled as she stood at the door to the ball. The thought if she would recognize him with a mask kept running through her mind.
She hated anything that dealt with dancing, the last time she had gone to a Hogwarts dance was with Keena. She wasn't as graceful as every one thought, she hated dancing and hated dressing in dresses, but she figured she would dress appropriately for Aleski. Her dress wasn't long, it stopped just above the knees, it was white and strapless, with pink going around the waist, and rhinestones going up the left side. Her mask didn't quite match but that didn't bother her. She wasn't in to wearing hills all to much so she decided to wear a pair of white and pink converse to match the dress.
She looked around for any sign of him, but she couldn't find him, or at least she couldn't recognize him as anyone, she scanned the room again this time looking by the doors just in case he decided to wait for her.
She spotted someone with indigo dress robes by the door, she smiled bigger, as she spotted the golden hair, she walked slowly over to him, her hands behind her dress, she stopped in front of him,
"Hey. I love your robes!" it came out more nervously than she had hoped for.
