N.E.W.T prep Class 1

Moldy Goldy suspended himself idly in the air, revolving slowly as he waited for his students to arrive in class. He couldn't actually pick up a chalk to write on the board, which he found very frustrating in terms of preparation before the lesson.

He always did the same thing in his free time. After all, he was a ghost, and variety was a luxury that was lost in the centuries...

He preferred the more advanced topics, and was therefore happy to have the older class. He would start this class with some practical combat charms practice. Most of the students probably already knew how to temporarily confuse an opponent, most would now had to produce at least some form of a patronus, disarm, slow down advancing items, or maybe even erase memories, but today would be a show-what-you-know day, so he could know what kind of students he was working with.

He fixed his eyes on the door, awaiting the young student who would first walk through the door. For their punctuality, he decided, he would award their house 10 points.

Albus walked into the Charms classroom. He was quite early, hoping to make a good impression on the professor. "Good morning professor," he said politely, choosing a seat and sitting down. He saw there was no one else at the class yet.

Christabelle was soon to follow after Albus in entering the classroom. "Guten Morgen professor!" she said cheerfully, though looking rather sleepily around. She took a seat and pull out what she would need for the class.

Ami walked into class and found a seat in the back, she had heard that charms had a new professor, but she wasn't sure if she was going to like them or not. She sat down with out a word.

Ne'os walked into the class and sat down in the front smileing at the Proffesor "morning proffesor"

Karrit smiled at the class as they entered, brimming with life and youth, the two things he would never regain. He envied them... but didn't dwell on that for long. He noted the first student to enter class with a respectful nod, remembering to add 10 points to the Slytherin hourglass. [[OOC: You posted as Darren, but in the post you said Albus, so I'll just give it to Slytherin]]

"Zaoshang hao," he said to the class, deciding that if the students wanted to use foreign languages, he should to. He understood nearly all of them, because, what else do you do with an eternity of spare time on your hands?

"Class isn't starting for another few minutes, but today we're just going to brush up on forgotten skills. Show me any Charms work you know, try to impress me. You won't be graded yet, because that's not fair. However, I'll award you House Points for outstanding displays of wandwork. You can get a headstart if you wish."

"Hi Nick!" Christy said greeting him smiling. She had pulled out her wand and placed it on the table crossing her legs. She had indeed been wearing heels like she had said the night of the feast. Along with her blue and black plaid skirt and blue shirt. "This should be an easy class won't you think?" she asked curiously. She knew she wouldn't have much difficulty her mother being a charms professor, she had been learning since she could stand and speak.

Mariana skipped into the classroom knowing she was late. "Sorry i am late Professor Gold." she said out of breath as she sat next to Christabelle. "What did i miss?" she asked putting books,ink,quil and her wand on the desk.

Aden was late but he hoped the prof. would not notice so he snuck in using an invisibility charm. tacking a seat near the back Aden released the charm, but when Mari came in he decided to speak up also. "i was late too prof. i am sorry their was a first year build up some where on the fourth floor."
