Abbey watched as Elv and Christy went up the stairs to help Allie get ready. Abbey knew that sometimes people other then your sister could make you feel better. Abbey took another glass of punch and sipped it as she waited for Christy and Elv to come back downstairs, hopefully with Allie in hand.

Christy had gotten Allie up and ready putting a tiny bit of make-up on her to make her feel like she was a bit more grown-up. She knew she would have made a wonderful big sister had her parents ever had any other children besides her.

Christy and Elv came back downstairs with Allie holding Christy's hand. "Thank you." Abbey said to Christy and Elv. Allie came over and sat in Abbey's lap. She had a cute little white dress on with black coat on over it. Abbey noticed Christy had put a little bit of lipgloss and eyeshadow on her. Abbey winked at Christy, silently thanking her again.

Elv smiled at Allie after Christy put some make up on her face. "Ouch... Preety little lady..." she said. "You look cute, Allie..." she complimented her. Elv looked at Christy. "You're good at it, Chris!!"

Christy flashed a smile at Abbey and walked over to her and her sister, "Allie would you like to get something to eat?" she asked holding out her hand to the little girl. She was trying to make things easier for Abbey and thought by taking her sister to get something before the funeral started might help her even just the tiniest bit.
"Thanks Elv." she said smiling, "I actually have no clue what I'm doing though."

Allie took Christy's hand, and Abbey watched as Christy guided her over to the refreshment table. Christy helped Allie fill her plate with some food. Abbey looked over at Elv. "How have you been Elv? I hope you're not traumatized by that whole thing the other day." Abbey said.

Christy, after putting food on Allie's plate that she wanted, moved her over to a near by table and handed her several napkins, "Here you go," she said smiling as she grabbed her a glass of punch, "We don't want you getting that pretty dress dirty do we?" she looked back over at Abbey and flashed her a sincere smile.

Elv smiled to Abbey. "My experiences are less than yours, Abbey... Don't worry about me..." she said calmly to Abbey. Then nodded to Christy and Allie near the table. "She surely is going to be a perfect big sister later, don't you think so?" she asked.

Christy fixed a small plate of food and sat down next to Allie nibbling on what she got as she talked to the girl making her laugh. She wished she had been given the chance at having a little brother or sister to spoil. She was greatful that her parents had decided to adopt the two sisters cause at least now she would have the chance.

Matt took a step forward. "Ms.Dawn"he called. "Hello Miss. Whittle" he said. He stood there next too her. "Have you seen Abbey"He asked.
