Resting (Allana)

Sterling stiffened when she said Slytherin. He got along with Ne'os and Sam alright and they were both in Slytherin... so he let the fact slide. He blushed when she called his house wimps. "Ravenclaw isn't full of wimps!" he said defensively. "Cleverness is as important as anything else on the battlefield!" he was saying... but now realizing the knowledge of the spells hadn't been at all a deciding factor when he had tried to save Chase... maybe she was right. He hung his head a little lower, not noticing as his body involuntarily leaned in toward Allana.

"Aww, you're not going to hold that against me are you?"She asked grinning at him after he stiffened. "Just because I'm a Slytherin doesn't mean I'm evil."She said pouting. Even though it wasn't true, and she knew that, it was still fun to try and get on someone's good side. She grinned at him. His indignity at her calling his house full of whimps made her heart almost burst with happiness. The pain she caused him was just over bearing. What she would have given to tear out her wand right there! But she knew she couldn't, she could get in trouble, but causing emotional distress was something that was even worse then torture.

She grinned at him, and very purposely put her hand on his cheek. "Of course cleverness is used on the battlefield."She said smiling at him her eyes dead of emotion, but her face beautiful with a smile. "I didn't say it wasn't, but the people in the house seem to have trouble using their knoweldge."She said smiling at him her hand still on his cheek.

Sterling felt her hand on his cheek... stabs of painful, purely physical attraction surged through him. He tried to fight it... to avoid it. But he couldn't. He felt himself lean in closer still, despite how much it hurt just to be within conversational distance from her. He was trying with all his might to pull away, forcing himself to think of Chase... in a relationship went through his mind. Then of Cat... We're not going out... it's just a crush, it told him. Sterling wished he had a solid excuse not to lean in any closer... Sterling still didn't want to... it seemed more like he had to. She probably wasn't doing this to him on purpose. She was so nice... so innocent.

"Yeah... there should be an extra practical class for Ravenclaws to get better at that," Sterling said, not fully aware of what words were oozing from his mouth.

Allana was giddy with excitement, he was leaning in closer. Oh how she wished she could cause him more pain then he looked like he was going through. Oh wait! She could! This would take careful planning though. She smiled at him when he said something about classes. Oh he was such a Ravenclaw, it excited her. She leaned in closer and placed a soft kiss on his cheek. She waited for his reaction, she wanted to see the tenderness, or even better, the pain it might cause him! This was to good to be true! She could sure act! She should become an actress...yes! No, but she couldn't lose her focus. Grinning she looked him in the eyes. He was killing himself, she could see it in his eyes. She would have to learn more about this...Sterling Silver.

Sterling felt a tingling pain where Allana had kissed his cheek. He felt the familiar desire to both escape and to kiss her back. He really didn't want to kiss her, but he wasn't able to move his legs for him to escape. He contented himself in trying as hard as he could (unsuccessfully) not to blush, and playing with his thumbs. There was nothing wrong with Allana, but something wrong with him. He was becoming as disloyal and flirtatious as Chase. The though sickened him.

Allana giggled slightly enjoying the look of pain. "So tell me."She said softly. "Why do you look like someone just stabbed you? Let me guess, either you have a girlfriend, or you're ex just broke up with you?"She asked softly touching his cheek gently again. "In either way..I guess I shouldn't be toying with you're emotions!"She said and dramatically got up, letting her fingers stay on his cheek as long as possible.

She spun around so her back was to him and smirked her head turned away from him. She had made sure that the smell of flowers consumed him on her way up, accidentally swiping his face with her hair. Smirking she put her hand to her cheek pretending to be mortally offended. She had realized that, without meaning to, her voice the second she had talked to him, was higher in pitch, much more innocent then her usual voice. Which was much heavier, full of danger. She was a dangerous beauty after all.

Sterling couldn't stand to see her go, but was glad she was all the same. The truth was, both were true. Chase had just left him, and Cat... well, she wasn't his girlfriend, but she wished she was... and wouldn't sitting on a pier being kissed by a stranger be like pre-cheating? Condemn his relationship to such in the future if it ever worked out?

"Both," Sterling said. She was going to go... he could have time to collect himself and escape. He was relieved despite how much it pained him to see such a kind, innocent face leaving. But he would have been able to stand it... had her scent not bombarded him again. He leaped up and seized her hand, and found his face leaning in to kiss her. He stopped his breathing and the memory of the scent lingered in his lungs. He shut his eyes and forced himself not to, his lips half an inch from hers. "Don't go," he panted, squeezing her hand. He hated himself for doing it. Why did the scent make him so easily lose his rationality?

Allana gasped when he pulled her around and moved so his lips were only inches from hers. Oh this was to good! It was all working out so easily. She knew this was going to hurt him so much more than it EVER would for her. So she pressed her lips to his. Closing her eyes she pressed her lips hard and firm onto his. This was to good to be true, she had her new prey. She just had to keep him under her while she pressed him down until he drowned. She wanted to be there when he realized she was joking. She wanted to see the pain in his eyes. This was going all to well! She kissed him harder putting her hand on his cheek, her fingers around his ear, pulling him closer to her still.

Sterling wasn't prepared for her to kiss him. Sterling almost fainted at the suddenness of it. He felt himself fall limp into her arms as she did. He wasn't kissing back at first... but then she continued and he couldn't help himself, instinct taking over. He wanted to stop, but every time he tried to pull away the scent of her perfume would fill him again and he wouldn't be able to escape. Sterling offered no resistance when she pulled him closer. He couldn't resist no matter how hard he tried. Why couldn't he escape? His eyes fluttered closed in the kiss. NO! he was screaming to himself.

But Sterling took comfort in the fact that she was so innocent, so sincere...

Allana almost laughed at him when he didn't kiss her back and then he started to. She pulled him closer her hand falling to his lower back. She kept her hair falling over his face. This was to good! She knew he was fighting her, but that didn't stop her. Why would that stop her? She smiled and pulled him closer happy that he was starting to kiss her back. Finally moving back, she kept her hand on his cheek, her fingers surrounding his ear. "I'm sorry."She lied looking him in the eyes.
