Jack had come to a desishion "listen i have something i have to do but i'll be back to meet you at the dacne later" he said turning her to face him "I will be back" he kissed her ten looked at Zoe with a smile that said he was up to something good. picking up his jacket he left leaving his bag behind.

jess looked at Zoe puzzled "wonder what he's up to , and why he's so happy for" it was then she noticed he'd left his bag behind" that's strange he takes it everywhere "she said looking out the window to see if she could still see him but he was gone .

Zoe sat sipping her coffee. She wasn't really full of talk. Watching Jess and Jack made her sad. Not for them but for herself. But it would change soon hopefully. Time would only tell. She watched as Jack left. Nodding at him as he left. Turning back to Jess. She noticed that Jess had picked up Jack discarded bag. "That is weird."

jess sat down hanging the bag back over the chair "guess he will be back , hay the dance is in two weeks right?" she asked

Zoe shrugged. "Yea, it is. Weird kinda. Didn't think we would be having another one so soon." Zoe smiled a little. "Are you going?"

jess sighed "I don't know, after the last dance i went too" she said looking at her fingers "besides i don't exactly have a dress for a spring dance"

Zoe laughed. "I can imagine. I always end up going alone and standing around looking at everyone else." She hated thinking on the past. "Yea me either."

jess looked at her "well if i do go you could come with me and Jack , if he gets back in time"she said "or we could just go together" she said smiling

Just then she realized that Zoe hadn't told Jess that she had been asked. "Oh my. I have been so out of it. I have some news." Zoe took a deep breath and launched into the news. "So you remember that guy I was telling you about in the library. The one that has been away for so long. Well he is back and he asked be to go with him to this dance." Zoe sat for a minute thinking on what she had just said. "I can not beleive it I will actually have a date. That is if I decided to go."
