Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Nikki sighed. It had been half an hour and Nick still hadn't turned up. "Oh Nick, where are you?" Nikki muttered. She shrugged and stood up. She started to dance to the rhythm of the music.

Ginevra Malenki wrote:Ginevra liked both slow and fast music so she had no problem with the current song that they were dancing too; the fact that Darren was her dance partner just made it that much more great. "No, i'm just trying really hard not to trip or anything." she admitted, biting her lip lightly as she blushed. She didn't want to step on his toes or anything, she'd done that to many times before.

"I see you didn't bother taking my advice then," Darren said slightly glumly. He was also concentrating hard on his dancing, so it was slightly hypocritical. Hearing Soph's comment from where he was, he rolled his eyes. People always seemed to say that, it was annoying.

"I tried, it's hard though." she admitted, sighing. It was the truth, trying not to concentrate on what she was doing just made her have to concentrate on concentrating to do nothing. It was so hard and confusing she'd given up after the first tell, it wasn't worth it, she'd take the tripping over it. Also hearing Sophia's comment, she made sure Darren wasn't looking as the smile that appeared on her face was brighter than before. Unlike Darren, she couldn't help but like the thought.

"Hard.. Yeah sure" Darren muttered rolling his eyes. "Fine, try concentrating on only one thing, thats what I usually do. And don't hesitate that much either," he advised. He doubted she would actually even listen to he added "Your doing fine so far so I guess it doesn't matter." Spotting her smiling from the corner of his eye he raised his eyebrows and asked "What?" Knowing Gin, she was probably smiling because of the fact he had asked her to dance, which made Darren both happy and a little annoyed.

"I wish you spent a day with my clumsiness, it'd be a lot more easy to explain why it's hard not to be clumsy." she commented, looking at him with a slightly annoyed expression. He seemed to think it was so easy and she wasn't trying at all when that wasn't true; she was (or had been) trying and it was always hard. Don't hesitate much. she repeated in her head, trying to think of a way not to hesitate. So far she hadn't but that was just so far, there was still the time to come. "Umm," Ginevra released as Darren noticed her smile, she hadn't thought he'd be looking at her out of the corner of his eyes. "Nothing, just commentary."

"I'd rather not," Darren joked smirking. "You might as well try my advice though, Its not like you'll get any more clumsy. Thats physically impossible." Frowning at her explanation, he doubted she was telling the truth, but let it pass. He wasn't about to argue about such a little thing, so he continued dancing, though he was starting to wonder when the **** song would end.

"Because you know it wouldn't be that great." she teased, rolling her eyes at the fact. "Nothing is impossble for me when it comes to the physically impossible." she reminded him, shaking her head at the fact. She was an odd girl who could do anything you thought she'd never come close to doing. As the song came to an end, Ginevra started to take her hands back to herself.
