Darren's House

Ginevra had laughed when she saw the scowl upon Darren's face, she was not bothered by it in the least bit, she was amused by it. Listening to his reasoning she really couldn't help but frown. She always forgot that he was two years older than her, therefore two years ahead of her. She didn't know what she'd do at Hogwarts without him, it just wouldn't te the same! She'd miss and worry about him a millon times. "It's fine, we can both stay at Hogwarts, there is no problem with it." she assured him, smiling. She'd just go home next year for Christmas if she wasn't able to get ahold of Darren before Christmas came again.

Darren wanted both, he wanted to stay at Hogwarts for his last Christmas there, but he also wanted to spend it with Gin, so he didn't want her to leave. He knew it was a bit selfish, but thats just how he was. "Thanks," he said smiling. Looking around, he realized he had totally forgotten where they had been going, and was totally lost. They should have been there by now, so he guessed he had probably taken a wrong turn. "I'm lost.." he admitted, frowning.

Ginevra hadn't been paying attention to the time at all, she had just been looking at Darren close to the full time. "Don't worry about it." she assured him, yawning slightly. not worried about getting lost for two reasons, Ginevra remained calm. "Apperate then?" she asked, not sure if that would help any.

"Umm sure, we'll apparate," Darren said shrugging, so their walk was a total waste of time, he knew it would be. It was hard not to get lost around here, nearly all the trees were identical. Taking her hand, she didn't know where the village was, so she would have to apparate with him. "Get some sleep when we come back, by the way." he added, seeing her yawn. Then he waved his wand and apparated before she could say anything.

After that peculiar familiar sensation, he landed softly with Gin at the center of the village. Looking around, he was really lucky no one was around. He would of apparated somewhere else, like the outside, but this was the only place he remembered. Right infront of them, on a hill, was the mansion of the riddles.

Ginevra didn't consider how long they'd walk for a waste of tme, she was perfectly time with just walking and talking anytime. She liked everything simple. Letting Darren go along with side-along apperation, she really didn't know anything about where it was so it was the best plan. "I don't need sleep." she told him, rolling her eyes. She had to yawn sometimes, it didn't always mean she needed sleep, though mostof the time it did, she'd just deny it, like now and get Darren mad, though not on purpose. "Long time since i've been here." she mused as they appeared.

"Yes you do, every human does," he said, shaking his head from dizziness. He always got dizzy when he apparated, he didn't quite know why - others didn't. "Are you scared of sleeping or something?" Looking around the town, you could literally see every corner of it from here, it was so small. "You haven't been here before.." he muttered, raising his eyebrows. Pointing up to the huge manor, he muttered "Guess whos house that was."

Ginevra knew Darren was right about the factor of sleep. It was indeed important but she didn't want to have it because well, he was right with his question, she was afraid to sleep. Everytime she slept she felt like anything good in her life was just going to disappear. The thought was not inviting so she avoided it at all costs. "I guess you could say that." she murmured, looking at the ground as she said it quietly. She'd not said she'd been here before on purpose, she didn't want him to know she had been, so she covered herself up. "No, you're right, I haven't been here.. Just somewhere similar." Looking at the house, she raised her eyebrow and shrugged. "The Riddles?"

"Your afraid of sleeping?" Darren said, raising his eyebrows. What kind of moron was afraid of sleeping? He'd never met someone as weird as Gin. "Why exactly?" Still slightly confused as to why she had said she hadn't came here in a long time, he just shrugged and let it pass. "Yup, Voldemort's fathers house, Voldemort murdered him and his parents as well over here. He then killed the gardener too. The muggles around are convinced its haunted, so they never come here," he informed her. That's what his father had told him about it anyways.

Ginevra rolled her eyes, she could tell by Darren's tone of voice that he thought she was crazy - once again. "Everytime I close my eyes I feel everything that's good in my life with disappear, it's not my fault." she told him, not knowing why she was actually admitting it but not caring that she was either. She trusted Darren with anything, she just kept things from him at times so he wouldn't get mad at it or her. "I've heard the story from mom, it's not so pretty." she spoke looking at the house wth interest. Laughing when he said that he muggles thought it was haunted, she guessed that was typical, what else would they think?

Darren always thought Gin was crazy, he always had. Whenever he had a slimmer of doubt she wasn't she just went and proved she totally was. Like now. Frowning at her reasoning, he really didn't understand that at all. Well at least she gave one, she usually just answered his questions with a riddle or a lie. He still didn't quite know if she was telling the truth, but he trusted her. "It is your fault," he disagreed. "Why would everything good disappear? If you haven't noticed, other people sleep too, and they don't have trouble doing it." Darren wasn't quite sure why he was so obsessed with the subject, he just hated seeing her tired all the time. "Yup," he agreed, slightly uncomfartably. Sometimes before, he wanted to kill his father for wrecking his life, but he never really would of, it was just a feeling. Darren wasn't like Voldemort. "Want to inside?" he asked, slightly bored.
