"Watermelon eh, I'll be right back, then you can tell me, I promise I won't tell anyone" he told her with a smile. Nick never smiled, it was something he rarely did. Nick went upstairs to the boys dorms, put on his soft leather boots that pinched him in the toes when he walked, something that his sister bought him for his birthday, and went out in the blizzard.
Hogwarts always kept out of season fruit in the greenhouse. Nick walked the snowridden path and found himself at the greenhouse door. He turned the doorknob but it didn't open. Nick kicked the door inwards and the wooden door popped open. He looked around for the watermelons and found them. Nick grabbed a sharp metal knife cut the melon in half the cut it again in about 17 pieces. Nick brought out his wand and conjured a platter and put the fruit on it.
Nick walked back into the castle and walked up to the great hall doors. Nick kicked off his boots by the great hall door, he would grab them later, and walked in. Nick sat down the fruit in front of Cecilia. "So now you eat and tell me" Nick said with another smile, he had to stop smiling this is the most he smiled in 3 months.
