What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Lesson 2! Empty Lesson 2!

Post by Kingsley Shacklebolt Tue Nov 13, 2012 4:55 am

Another day, another class. Sometimes it got quite dull for Kingsley Shacklebolt. Then again, everything would seem dull after you spent most of your life battling extremist maniacs. Luckily, this was a lesson he rather liked - Conjuration. Entering the classroom, Shacklebolt went and began preparing the lesson, as he waited for the students to arrive.

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Amelia Macmillan Tue Nov 13, 2012 11:16 am

Amelia was looking forward to Transfiguration. She wanted to revive herself after the last lesson. That was so embarrassing. She never has that much problems with Transfiguration. She knew last time it was an off day but it was bugging the heck out of her.

She wanted to take a cat nap before class started but that wouldn’t look too good on her if she sleeps on her book before class. She can’t help it if she is studying so much she always feels tired. She just wanted to get through another class without too much accidental self-harm. She always did something to embarrass herself. She had to pick sticks out her hair last hour after taking a lovely trip down the hill to Care of Magical Creatures, she really did wish there was snow so she would have gotten snow in hair instead of sticks. She wasn’t sure if she had even got them all out. Why was that hill so steep?

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Alice Longbottom Tue Nov 13, 2012 6:01 pm

Transfiguration was a class she enjoyed well enough, so Alice was looking forward to it. Her day started well. She woke up early, actually had time for a good breakfast, and wasn't late for class this time. But her schedule was full for the day so she hoped she could keep her concentration throughout the whole thing.

She walked into the Transfiguration classroom and noticed that the room was almost empty. Somehow she was always either too late or too early for every class. Carrying her book, she took a nearby seat. With a single gaze through he room, she realized the only person in the room besides the professor was Amelia. She gave her a polite smile and a nod. Hopefully this class would end soon, as she was feeling tired and definitely ready for a long nap.

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Freyja Podmore Tue Nov 13, 2012 9:48 pm

He was really dreading class today. That wasn't normal for Zandell, he almost always looked forward to his classes. Especially Transfiguration, it was his favorite class out of all the ones he took. But today he wasn't feeling up to it. His entire life had pretty much been turned upside down in that one week. It really wasn't fair at all.

Zandell trudged up to the Transfiguration class from the Hufflepuff dungeon and he sighed as he approached the room. He really didn't want to be there. When he walked in and saw Alice, he didn't know what to do and he just glanced at her and walked to the back of the classroom. At this point he didn't even want other students looking at him anymore.

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Alexander Kaverin Wed Nov 14, 2012 6:16 am

Alex had never properly paid attention in classes like Transfiguration. They were far too much about discipline and concentration and whatnot, with very little award out of it. What did he care if he could make a sofa into a chair. However, this lesson did serve some practical purposes. Conjuration. Alex had learnt quite a bit already from reading sessions about the subject but learning it from someone like Kingsley Shacklebolt was something different. While he had always had more faith in self learning than through a teacher, he was certain Shacklebolt would not disappoint.

So for once Alex arrived at the class in time. He wasn't too happy to discover it was filled with good for nothing Hufflepuffs. All blood traitors or muggle born obviously, but that was a given in Hogwarts, even Slytherin was crawling with them now. He made sure to sit as far away as possible.

For Cecilie Transfiguration's were on of her favourite classes of the Hogwarts lessons. She always did paid attention in this class, she did all the time what she needed to on the right time.

CeCe entered to class and she of course said hello to the teacher and other students who were here. She did sat somewhere on the back row. All faces in this classroom where to her strangers, she didn't know any one in this class, oh i mean students. Teacher she knows of course, i guess so atleast. She did put her on the table and closed her eyes. She lately sleeps to less, she is always so sleepy.

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Saoirse O'Connell Fri Nov 16, 2012 1:37 am

Saoirse traipsed into Transfiguration class, her book bag much lighter, as she had time after Potions to drop her things off in her dormitory. She scanned the faces already in the room, many were new, but some she had seen before. She had never talked to any of them; however, so she sidled off to find a seat by herself. It was unfortunately, near the front of the classroom, but it seemed to be the standard that most students would sit towards the back. She figured it was more likely she'd be left alone sitting near the front.

Sighing slightly, Saoirse dug into her bag and procured her book on Transfiguration. She had missed the last class, and had a bit of trepidation on how well she'd do.

Post by Asuna Mitchell Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:16 am

It was another day of classes for Asuna. Today she had Transfiguration. She was confident she would do well even though she missed the first class. She had asked one of her classmates what she had missed and read through the material. She didn’t want to fail in her classes at Hogwarts. Failure did not sit well with her.

Asuna made sure to get up at a good time to get to class early. She approached the doors of the classroom while tying up her brown hair in a ponytail. She finished her work and with a deep breath she opened the doors to the classroom. A number of students were already sitting in the desks. She walked in and chose a desk close to the middle behind the red-haired first year. Then, she sat in her desk and retrieved her Transfiguration book, a piece of parchment for notes, and a quill. She briefly frowned at the quill. She preferred the Muggle writing utensils back home. Four years at this school and she still wasn’t quite comfortable to writing with a quill. It must be because of all the writing she did with her pencils and pens back home.

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Marguerite de Lancret Sat Nov 17, 2012 9:55 pm

Marguerite walked into the classroom, her shoulder bag clasped in one hand. Her boots echoed hollowly against the floor as she strode in, eye out for an empty seat. Thankfully, the classroom was not yet too full, and Marguerite could easily find a seat.

She chose one on the right side of the class, near the back. She sunk into the chair and dropped her shoulder bag on the floor. Her skin was a bit paler than usual, and she licked her lips fretfully, hoping to abate the thirst she felt rising within her. She would need to find someone willing to let her feed. No need to drain anyone dry, and the young's blood was apt to replenish itself much more readily than that of an adult. A youth's life was a wonderful thing.

Marguerite folded her hands on top of the desk and stared at her interlaced fingers, trying to shut out the sounds of beating hearts around her.

Lesson 2! Empty Re: Lesson 2!

Post by Avis Summers Sun Nov 18, 2012 1:37 pm

Avis missed the first lesson. Fascinating, wasn't it? And to think that she didn't even feel bad about that wasn't making anything better either.
To her own defence she could just say that she was sick, which wasn't actually a lie. No one was immune against the flu wich came every autumn, basically week or two after the school had started.
And though she boiled potions and other stuff like that, she wasn't immune to such things. Those were natural, but as for now, she never caught the green rash thing. Good for her.

Much to her surprise - there were only two Slytherins! Avis had nothing against those guys, but seeing the room dominated by Gryffindor girls and Hufflepuffs, she felt kind of sorry for Kaverin and de Lancret.
Or then again, maybe not.
She took a seat near her housemates and took out her wand with the book. Then, nothing to do besides just waiting for the lesson to start, she took out the comic book that her father had sent her this morning. Marvel's "Deadpool". That was promising.
