Darren appeared on the middle of the road, slightly dizzy. Once he regained his balance, he looked at their surroundings. No one was around there, which was a good thing - he didn't know much about muggles but he was pretty sure they couldn't just appear out of nowhere. It was quiet, but otherwise, nothing out of the ordinary was around them, just boring identical houses. Looking sideways at Gin, he nodded then, hoping very much he didn't need it, took his wand out and waited for her to lead the way.

[i'll add to the title so no one else does, if you'd likee.]

Starting to lead the way down the rows of identical houses, Ginevra turned when she got to the j-shaped turn towards the non-identical houses. Starting to walk there, unlike Darren, it worried her that there was not as many people as their usually would be at this time of day. Seeing her sisters house up ahead, she guestered Darren towards that way so he knew which way they were heading; there were a lot of houses along the way.

Darren followed her silently, looking around for anything suspicious. Now that he thought about it, it was weird that there was no one in site, it was just late-afternoon after all, but yet there was not one person in sight. "How much longer?" he asked, curiously and anxiously.

Turning as he spoke, she rolled her eyes. She was hoping he was anxious because it was a muggle town, not because it was deserted. "We're here," she told him as she turned onto a path and directed him towards the house.

Darren followed her gaze and suddenly remembered the house. "Doesn't seem like anything is wrong.." he muttered. But of course you couldn't know from such a distance

Looking at the the other houses compared to Britney's you would notice the size. Her sisters was much smaller but that was because inside magic took place. Ginevra and her mom made it that way she she could get used to the muggle world more. Sure, she was a squib but she'd grown up around magic. "Let's hope you're right too." Ginevra agreed as she taped the door handle with her wand and waited for the click.

Darren bit his lip as she tapped the door, hoping very much it would be britney who answered. Ï think you should stay back a bit, she might be uh.. too surprised to see.." he trailed off, struggling to find a reason to keep her out of danger.

Looking back at him, Ginevra shook her head. "She'll be in bed, she wont get the door as she'd know i'd come right in." she explained, swining the door open to see the room as she'd left it, though something was odd and she couldn't figure it out just yet. Pushing the door open more with her foot, she looked in it and stepped in, her wand pointing right ahead. "& please, i'm not going to get hurt.." she tried to convince him, but she was the danger magnet.

Darren sighed, but he knew he wasn't going to win the arguement. "Fine," he said, taking a step ahead of her. "But I go first." Walking into the room, he looked around for any signs of struggle, it all seemed OK - to him.

Narrowing her eyes so fast that you wouldn't be able to notice she hadn't been doing it before when Darren stepped in front of her, she couldn't believe him. "Look, it seems fine." she said, not putting her wand down. Turning down a hallway, Darren was not going in front because she knew where to go, he did not. Heading to the first room, she had a habit of checking all of them - Britney's room was the last.
