Ginevra's House (tagged for Darren)

Darren dropped his wand when she said it and stared at her for a moment. "Are you sure?" he asked, not believing it. Standing up, he ran towards her, ignoring the pain. Bending next to Brittney, he touched her skin. It was cold. He held her wrist, searching for a pulse. Nope. Turning to Gin, he bit his lip. "Gin.." he stopped speaking, not knowing what to say.

Picking up Darren's wand as he dropped it, she didn't want to take any chances with Death Eaters somehow amazingly finding out where they were. Not moving any closer to where Britney was, she knew if she did she'd break down. Stupid emotions. Making a face as Darren ran, she knew he was in pain by the way he ran; it wasn't normal. "Get over here, I can't let you go around like that, i'll heal you." she said in one breath, still leaving her voice unreadable from emotions. It took practice but she had a feeling she was doing good at it, though it was obvious she was sad. Looking at Darren as he said her name, she shook her head. "Don't worry about it, I knew it was coming." she choaked out the words as they were true but she hated that it was a fact already. It was unknown to Ginevra if she had her mom or not still, so if she was the last Malenki now, well, that would take time to find out. Time she would not give for awhile now. The truth scared her more than she'd admit at the moment.

Looking at Gin slightly surprised, he was amazed to see she wasn't even crying. Well, he already knew she was great at hiding her emotions. Knowing what it was like to lose a sibling, he knew deep down she was suffering. "I'm OK," he said impatiently, annoyed that she was worried about him again. "Are you?" When she said she knew it had been coming, she was rather right. The moment he landed he had been quite sure if the Death Eaters had been there, they wouldn't of left Brittney alive. Now that he thought about it, it seemed totally foolish to even go there.

Ginevra could have gone no matter if Darren had knowledge about it or not. Sure, she would've fallen for the trap but that didn't mean she wouldn't have gotten out of it. It was obvious he was annoyed at her for worrying but she couldn't help it. Going over to him when he didn't come to her, she took out her wand. "Hold still." she told him as she tapped the place where he'd been injured ligthtly. Having a healer for a mom and being a clutz herself, she knew more than she'd ever let anyone know, as she didn't like getting attention for what she was able to do. "I'm as good as i'll get." she repied, nodding and looking at the injury and only that.

Sighing as she came over to heal him, he just let her do it. He was hurting all over and she seemed to know what she was doing. Looking down at Britney, like he had noticed before, she looked a lot like Ginevra - almost like twins. "This is all my fault.." he whispered.

"Why the hell would it be your fault?" Ginevra snapped, firing up instintally. Cringing, she went back to the healing. "Sorry, that was rude, why though?" she didn't want him blaming himself as it was in no way his fault. Ginevra was only ten months older than her sister was and ever since they were kids they'd looked like twins though her hair was naturally curly and Britney's was not. The only other difference was that she was a bit shorter and Britney's hair was lighter.

Darren winced as she suddenly yelled at him. "Well.." he said, when she calmed down a bit. "I'm sure you will be rather surprised but Death Eaters don't usually go for squibs.."

It seemed her sudden mood change hadn't only made her move back slight but Darren too. Frowning, she hadn't mean't to do that at all. Breathing in deeply, she let it out nice and slow. Taking it in, she made a face. "That's still not you're fault, it's mine for ever making them come after me in the first place."

Darren narrowed his eyes at her. "And why would they come after you?" he asked curious and suspicious. He didn't get that at all.

Ginevra shrugged, "Same reason as before, killing off whomever." she said simply, not knowing if that was still there reason but she didn't actually know, it just happened often. Oh well, it just wasn't Darren's fault in any way. Ever.
