Ravenclaw Common Room

Charlie realized he obviously hadnt cheered her up with the change of subject, just annoyed her. 'Ok then, Sorry, I wont ask again' Charlie apoligized. He searched for something else to say, but didnt find anything. "But do you like, like like him?" he said.

The thing wasn't that Ginevra was annoyed, it was more of the fact that she got asked it so often. She knew what he had meant perfectly well, she just wanted to see if he would ask again or give up and settle for thinking she was slow. Apperently not. "It's fine." Ginevra told him, shrugging her shoulders as she really didn't care, he had the right to say and ask whatever he wanted and she wouldn't stop him. The worst she would do was ignore him or the question, which wasn't anything major. "Like love him?" she repeated, raising her eyebrows like the idea was bizzare. "No," she finished her thought plainly, staring at the ground as she spoke. "He's my best friend." she repeated, but more to herself that time.

"Oh ok" Charlie said, although he didnt believe a word of it. "Wont bother you about that again"

Shaking her head at Charlie his tone just told her that he wasn't believing what she was saying to him. The truth was, though, she didn't know whether to believe her words or not either. Deciding because of that that she wouldn't argue, she shrugged and sighed before running a hand through her hair, removing the strands from blocking her eye sight. "Yea, okay." she agreed. "Found any girls you fancy?" she asked the question back, trying to think of one that could be addressed in general. "Alesy, perhaps?"

Charlie shrugged. 'i used to like Alesy' he said frowning ' Havent seen her in a while though'

Ginevra shook her head, as she had seen Alesy earlier that day. She was surprised, though, as he admitted it quite easily. "Everyone seems to get a thing for that girl at one point or another." she murmured more to herself then Charlie. "She's here, doesn't come out of the damned Common Room often, I guess."

'Oh' Charlie said surprised and sad that she hadnt talked to him for so long even though she was still at hogwarts. 'Yeah, i guess..'

Seeing the expression change on Charlie's face, Ginevra cussed under her breath. She had obviously said the wrong thing, telling him she was back, as he didn't seem to please. Why, she didn't know, but she knew they got along better then she did with Alesy, meaning he probably missed her. "You should see if you can find her sometime." Ginevra suggested, shrugging her shoulders.

'Im not going to go looking after her if she doesnt want to see me' Charlie said also shrugging. He wanted to change the subject from Alesy so he said 'found any guys you fancy?'

Ginevra understood what he mean't when he said he was not going to go find her if she didn't want to see him. Ginevra herself would have said the same thing if that was her in the situation, shrugging she didn't comment on it more. Hearing the next questiion, Ginevra laughed and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, one." she replied, not giving the name as that was something she really never did. No one knew, only guessed what they thought. "Have you?" she asked, obviously meaning girl wise.
