I guess my biggest issue with everything said above, which I had to read all at one time cause my activity tends to... fluctuate, is that you all make it sound like EVERYONE needs to be on at the same time.. you make it sound like it needs to happen FAST. Things don't have to happen fast, and they really won't now that school has started back up for some people.
I agreed with whoever said it before, I think it was Matt? We need to ask the members! Get a tally, don't go off their word or anything, honestly don't be like "Hey, we need this position filled, who wants it!" Present them the idea, tell people to look at it daily, get their input on it, and see what THEY think about it. It really sucks being a member sometimes, because you just don't know what's going on with the plot.
I LOVE the idea of the totalitarian government. I think it will work, the concerns about activity are minor in my eyes. Sure you need people to post to keep it going, like always, but the plot gives people a chance to get involved if they WANT to, and there are quite a few people who want involved.
I agree with Matt on another issue as well. Get admins out of head positions. People ARE afraid of it, believe it or not. When an admin has a head role, no one wants to even pretend to look at the role, it's a "Oh.. they are there, nevermind." Not a "Oh.. they are there.. I'm going to make this character anyway and get them kicked out!"
I think the people behind the figure head should be quiet though Danny. When I say quiet, I'm referring back to Jack's main post on the whole plot idea. The people in the back doing the enforcing, but not really seen as much as the figurehead.
I don't know if what I said literally just repeated and agreed with stuff, but it's true, I love the idea of this site plot, and I think it will work if we concentrate LESS on the member activity issue (Because we all know there are people who will fill the roles, sometimes you just have to ask). We need to make head positions more available, and open up some avenues.. Give people the availability to try something new, and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work..
