Friday Night Roleplay

He looked down at his watch and then back up to Jess. It was about time now, all of the students should have been frightened by now. "Professor Potter, it has certainly been a pleasure." He stood up from his seat and patted himself down. "But, I have some other business to attend to, if you do not mind." He gave a slight bow, and then made his way out.

Jess cocked an eyebrow but nodded, partially relieved that the strange man was leaving. "Well, it was nice meeting you, good luck in your endeavors and enjoy your evening, happy Halloween," he said to the retreating figure... what an odd man he was.

Arden was still standing in the doorway when she heard what sounded like other students. They weren't scary so she figured, well hoped, that they were just exploring like her. She walked through and saw some older looking furniture on her way. She wrinkled her face at their ruined state and continued past a grandfather clock. Why was she scared of grandfather clocks?

Rhys screamed when suddenly the ground disappeared under her. She fell with a thump on the ground floor, and sat there in shock, staring up at the ceiling. "Sam! Sam! Where are you!" She sobbed, staring around the room she was in. Suddenly though, she heard a sound, and she spun around, holding her wand out and slowly stepping forward. "Sam!!" She sobbed, pushing forward, as she came to the main room. "Oh! Hey! You! what... are you.. help! Something is totally wrong here!" She said looking around and staring. "Get out of here! now! The front door.. is it locked?" She asked, speaking to the Slytherin, before she went to the door and tried to open it, but it was stuck.

All alone :'(
"No! Rhys," he shouted, pounding on the floor she'd disappeared through. "Bombarda," he shouted, a crack and explosion echoing through the house as he tried to break through the floor.

Allen sat silently in the shadow. There appeared to be some Slytherin girl that just walked in and now...Rhys? What the hell was going on here. Allen noticed that Rhys seemed distressed, perhaps being chased by some monster or something. Before Allen went to talk to Rhys, he picked up a medium sized piece of glass which he found near a shattered mirror. He toke a couple of steps towards Rhys, his sanity slowly being drained. "Rhys?" he whispered in a low voice, his eyes wide "what the hell is going on?"

With Allen and Arden

"Allen! What is going on!?" She sobbed, holding her wand out. "The floor! It disappeared under me.. and I fell.. and Sam is up there, but I don't know where!" She said her eyes going to the piece of glass. "Allen.. what is that?" she asked, taking a small step backwards, panic making her overreact.

If Arden hadn't been getting freaked out enough, someone fell through from the floor above. Arden screamed in fright and looked back. It was a girl she was pretty sure she went to school with. Arden stared at the girl, breathing hard. She searched for words but none came to her. "Uh... I... uh..." she stammered. She looked around her as the girl went to try to open the door. How was it locked? She had come through it, not two minutes before... "But... What's going on?" Arden said, finding her voice. She was getting more uneasy all the time, and this was no lunger just a funny joke, if it ever was.

Samuel

As the screaming commenced, Nerissa had taken a seat once more and had pulled her legs in towards herself. Perhaps, she considered, if she were to remain where she was, she would not be caught in the middle of the chaotic mess that had been created. If she proceeded to sit in that makeshift bedroom and did not interfere, maybe, for once, she would get a small taste of luck.

But Nerissa's hopes were dashed prior to the realization that she was not alone in that dark room. There was another being; a boy who was not much older than herself, by the looks of it. "Who are you?" she whispered. "Can you help me?" but she dared not to move out of the shadows.

Nerissa flinched in response to the thunderous crack that was produced by the wizard's spell. Evidently, she had been wrong to assume that it would be safe to speak to a stranger. Surely, if he had the nerve to attempt to break through the floor by blowing it to bits, he was a threat.

Sam

Brian opened the way to the attic and he peered into it. A light was coming from somewhere. "Alright, lets do this Hitame." Quickly he hopped onto the ladder. "Once we..." Before he could say anything the ladder shot up and closed on him. "HITAME!" He screamed before it flung him into another hallway. The way up had vanished. "HITAME!" He shouted digging at the ground.
