Friday Night Roleplay

OOC: Remember folks, keep it short and simple. In this thread you have free roam of Hogsmeade and do not have to actually write with everyone involved. Everything will be taking place at the same time in this thread, so make sure and post where you are. Try and get as much RP'ing done as possible and don't forget that this is about character interaction, not post length. Happy RP'ing!

Shrieking Shack - Mysterious Man Dude

He stood at the top of the house, overlooking all of Hogsmeade, with a grin on his face. He had been plotting this night out for as long as he could remember. It had taken much manpower and a lot of coin to get it all orchestrated. Halloween made it that much easier for him to orchestrate all of this. Students would all be naive enough to believe the kidnappings were part of the celebrations and the adults would not be paying attention in the least bit.

Everything was starting as the night slowly slipped over Hogsmeade. Students were starting to file in in their costumes and the adults were doing the same. Some had come early and had been wondering around for a little bit, but now was the time the parties were truly getting underway. The adults in Hogs Head with the free alcohol and the students would be intrigued by all of the Halloween activities.

He moved away from the window and walked to his chair. The only thing to do now was wait.

Streets of Hogsmeade

Brian had been looking forward to the event for some time now. He was dressed as a simple vampire, nothing to special. He had on a cape and some fake teeth with a little fake blood around his mouth. Other people had more elaborate costumes on, and he was a little jealous of them, but he got over it. Now he just found himself wandering the streets, looking for anyone he might know.

As the sun dropped over the edge of their world the students of Hogwarts castle were allowed to leave their castle and venture into the village below. Sam was dressed in a simple headless man costume, simple but definitely fun - the pumpkin he'd enchanted to look like his head sat in his arms. He bumped into another student and cursed as he dropped his 'head.' "Bugger. Sorry," he said to Brian.

Brian was knocked back slightly when Samuel bumped into him. He shook his head and then smirked when he saw the costume. "No problem.... Hey nice costume!" Brian said enthusiastically. He was not sure who the person was because he was in a headless costume, but he figured he could compliment him anyways. "Its a lot cooler than mine anyways." Brian said, feeling a bit of jealousy.

Jess was walking out of the Hogs Head, feeling quite satisfied with the result of his errand inside when he found a real head rolling towards him... well, a transfigured head anyway. "Hello boys," he said, picking the head up and passing it to the one who appeared to be missing it. "Happy Halloween," he said. "Your old charms professor needs to get changed into something a little more... uh. halloweeny, so if you'll excuse me," he said, shooting down the street to head back to school. "Oh, and try not to lose that again," he added.

"Yo yo yo," Keith said, walking into the Hog's Head. He was dressed in a pinstripe suit with a fedora, and in one hand was an old fashioned muggle-metal-death-wand. "It's alright guys, I'm here. No big deal," he said, grabbing a butterbeer and popping it open.

Sam split a grin as he looked around on the ground for his... pumpkin. "Thanks man, yours too, though I wouldn't go inside the Hogs Head, you never know if you'll find a real vampire," he said with a laugh which quickly disappeared as his head was returned. "Sorry sir," he said, his... well, his costume's torso bending where his head was. "Nice costume," He added as Keith walked past and into the Hogs Head.

Millie sneezed. Bright purple dust sprang from her nose and mouth and the Gryffindor who had elected to dress as a dragon or something for Halloween, was thrown off of her feet and through the door of the Three Broomsticks, the result of the sneeze, quite drastic because of what it was. She was feather-light. Not even the dress she wore weighed her down and she landed awkwardly, with a lady-like "oof" springing from her lips.

Brian smirked at the comment but was cut short as their Charms professor came up to them. "Happy Hall..... He left." Professor Potter came and went very quickly and Brian just shrugged his shoulders. He also laughed as Keith walked by in a pinstripe suit and a fedora. He turned back to Samuel and then shrugged his shoulders. "Want to go do something? I have been looking around and there are so many things to do. I figure we can all go do the haunted house if we can get a group big enough?"

Candy!!!!!!!!! Candy Candy Candy! Rhys had had to much already. She was dressed as a stereotypical witch, a big hat on, a cape, and her own broom in her hand. She grinned and skipped down the road, not really caring where she was going, or what she was doing, but she wanted candy. More! More more more! Rhys went from each shop to the next, getting candy, pretending to say words that weren't spells to act like a muggle acting like a witch.

"I have to admit I love this holiday!" She said with a laugh as she skipped down the road.
