Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Rhys
Sam inwardly cursed as she attempted to light their path but failed, evidently the creator of this house had done their job well. "No," he said, shaking his head. "I don't ever follow anything sparkly, not after... well, you know," he said, his voice trembling a little. The forest was still fresh in his memory. "C'mon, i think I see the outline of a staircase there, lets head upstairs," he suggested.

Keith

Millie's eyes widened and she gave a shout of protest as the boy latched onto her arm. Before she knew what was going on though, she was thundering behind him at the tug of his firm grasp, into the house and into uncertain danger. "Hold on!" Millie exclaimed. "Who are you?" She pursed her lips and yanked her wrist from his grip. She then turned, but found there was no exit for her to pass through. "Which way is out?"

Why did her and Brian have to be the first to go in? She sighed and walked along with Brian, holding onto his arm firmly, not wanting to let go. When the ghost jumped out Hitame let out a scream and held onto Brian even more, pulling herself toward him. She was definately scared, and this time she wasn't going to hide it. "Me... me too." she said in a shaky voice.

Melissa

"I'm Keith," Keith said proudly. "You must be confused, because everyone knows me. No biggie though, I'll let that one slide." He tried to look around, but couldn't actually see anything because of the dark. "And out is...forward I think. Whoops!" He shouted, running into a wall. "Turn here, turn here,"

Sam

"Aww... yeah I guess you're right." She said glancing at the sparkly, before following him to the staircase. "I wonder what all is there to scare us? I mean... it's not exactly the most scary place.. a little dirty, really dark.. but.." Rhys looked around and frowned before pressing closer to him. "A lot happened in the forest you know.." she said slowly, as she made her way up the stairs. They creaked under her feet and she let out a soft whimper, before she made her way up the stairs.

Rhys
Sam nodded, he understood what she was saying, but the darkness of the place... it was like he was being suffocated, he just couldn't put a word to it, but he longed to be up and out of there. "You're right," he said, walking up with her and reaching the landing of the second floor. "Left or right?" he asked quietly

Hitame

Brian continued along through the house, his eyes starting to adjust to it. He hated to say it, but he somehow liked how the haunted house made Hitame grab onto him. Of course he would never admit that out loud, but he could think it. He came to a dead end that had two doors. He was unsure of which one to go through, so he just opened the one to the right. Inside was a chair that was rocking slowly back and forth. On the other side of the room was another door, and Brian assumed it was the correct way to go. Feeling braver, he reached down and he grabbed Hitame's hand. "Just don't let go, alright?" He said with a smile and then pushed forward through the door.

Sam

Rhys nodded and looked at him, or at least what she could see of his outline in the dark. "Yeah... but... oh wow.." She said slowly, and frowned, looking both ways. "Umm... right, because... that feels like the right thing to do.." she said with a smirk, knowing he couldn't see it, but hey, why not? Rhys looked at him and sighed, pushing forward to go down the hallway, her hand grasping his firmly.

"Wall," Keith said, hitting his face on a wall and turning in another direction. "Wall," he said, bumping into yet another one. "Wall...okay, what the hell is this!" He shouted. He was vaguely aware that he was no longer holding Melissa's wrist, but couldn't for the life of him figure out what had happened.

Then something grabbed him. "Ah! Ghost! Bad Larry! Heel!" Keith shouted, kicking futilely as he was dragged down the hallway.

Rhys
Sam nodded and took a deep breath, the stale air filling his lungs as he steeled his nerves for their first real venture into the house. "You know, a lot did happen in the forest," he whispered, a cheeky grin appearing on his face as they walked through. "Quite a lot," he said, pulling her close to him about to kiss her when he heard a scream from somewhere in the house. "What was that?" he asked, his grip on her hand becoming iron tight as he scanned the hall.
