The First Day

Clayton walked into the department of magical and law enforcement in the ministry. he looked around looking for where he needed to go. he has just gotten the owl saying that he had gotten the job as an auror and had sown up for his first day. he wore a stetson on his head, foots on his feet, a blue chambray shirt and tight fiting blue jeans. he didn't exactly fit in here but he like the idea of helping people. and this was a job he could do while still ranching. he taped on a mans shoulder and said "excuse me but could you tell me where i need to go for auror training?"

steven stood in thministry waiting fir find out if permision for leave had ben granted he felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to see a man with ahat on quickly he removed it " hats off in side or are you tat ignorant" he said imidiatly taking a dislike to him his own texan accent spilling out as he spoke " and auror trainning should have been completed before you came here , this is for those qualified " he said and frowened at him.

Clayton took his hat back from the guy, "hey, i just started, " Clayton said, "this is my first day, doing anything. Don't know anything about this stuff yet." he looked around "now could you just answer my question or am i going to have to find out some other way?" this guy seemed like a real prude to Clay and he just wanted to leave. but he had to figure this stuff out.

steven faced the man " I am an Auror and have been several years now, if you want a mission talk to the secetery " he said he pointed to a desk in a corner, his face suriose about this new Auror who he was and what he was like so far he ahd not made a good impreshion with him. " by the way my name for future referance is Auror Steven walker " he said

Clayton looked at steven ,"and i'm Clayton Stevens," Clay said then turned to go to the desk that steven had pointed to. he stood there for a few minutes then looked around the room again. he went back over to steven and looked at him again "so what's the job like?" he asked "and i'm sorry if i seemed rude. just don't like people touching the hat." next to his horse it was his most prized possession. "you have an southern American accent. you from texas or something'?"

steven looked at clayton something about him seemed familer. he chose now to say something insitead nodded " yes texas i was a ranger there for years along side the Auror's " he said and loke dat his desk the papaer work was not a big as he had fist feared but it was there quickly he worked threw it so he could meet delilah for lunch she had grown big now and he was happy to be with her he liked feling the babies move inside her.

Clayton watched what steven was doing. this guys seemed kinda strange to him. it looked like he was going to ask a question but he didn't. "you in a hurry or something?" he asked as a lady walked up to them "Mr. Walker, your wife is waiting down stairs for you." she said, "you may want to hurry because she refuses to sit down and she refuses to set Dylan down. she's going to hurt her self." the lady left again most likely to try to get Stevens wife to set their son down and take a seat some where. "your wife sounds stubborn." Clay said.

Delilah stood in the main entrance place of the ministry Dylan in her arms though she wouldn't have been holding him. they where both to big for that. "Mommy put me down," Dylan said again and again.
"not right now honey," was Delilahs reply she was afraid if she set him down she would lose him.

steven smiled as the woman said Delilah was down waiting for her " yeap sounds like her, but I would not have her any other way " he said " ok tell her to come up, I have some work to finish but then we can go to lunch " he told her pulling down a other file that he had to check and sign as he waited for her to come up .

Clay shook his head not under standing why a guy would ever settle down and have a big family especially one that seemed just as mean as his father had been. he watched the lady walk away.
Delilah smiled and said thank you when she said she was aloud to go up to where steven was working. she carried Dylan up the stairs and then into the department of magical law enforcement. when she saw Clayton she stopped dead in her tracks and dylan squirmed out of his arms running to steven. "hey daddy," he said smileing up at steven.

steven pickiked him up in his arms " hey Dylan hows mummy been ?" he asked and walked over to her his arm going aroud her he saw the look on her face " you allright honey" he said and kissed her cheek gently now knowing what could have made her stop like she had. He put Dylan down and placed his hand on ehr tummy " these ok?" he asked sofly as rubbed her now large tummy.
