A night at the carnival

Their cart was silent. But not the type of silence that was akward, or silence because there was nothing to talk about. This silence was of thought for the future, and thoughts of this moment. Shelby's kiss was much more magical then any other kiss he's gotten in the past. He liked it a lot, and now it was official, without a question. Ethan Thorn & Shelby Malfoy were now going to date. Ethan was happy about this, not only did he find something to take his mind off of things, he also found someone who's is just as smart, kind, funny, devious, and sensitive as he is. Possibly maybe even more than he is. Ethan watched the night sky with his arm around Shelby, feeling good, and with relief. Shelby was Ethan's angel, the angel that he needed at that moment.

Shelbys body relaxed aginst ethans as she looked at the sky a small satisfied smile on her face. even if that kiss was just brought on buy the moment shelby didnt care. it had felt so right and she hoped Ethan felt the same. she reasted her head on his sholder loveing the silance. she had found a guy who had a brain and she was sure he had a heart. he had a romantic side which was easy to see and she loved it all.

Ethan hugged her gently and watched the sky, only in amazement at the kiss. They were already suspended in the top of the wheel and it slowly started to move. As the engines moved it did not stop the moment between them. Ethan was having the time of his life, and watched as the surrondings got bigger. He put a spell on the wheel to make it go slower so he could continue to enjoy the view, with Shelby on his shoulder. He also watched as the moon glowed more and more. Thank Shacklebolt (lol) I'm not a werewolf. Ethan thought. Eventually the ride ended, and now it took long to get everyone out because they had to take out the locks on every carriage.

Shelby smiled as she hurd him cast a spell. she gathred that was enjoying this movement. "what are we going to do next?" she asked looking over at him. she pulled his jacket tighter aroundher self and warched the sky in a dazed starte.

Spell or no spell the ride was gonna end and eventually it did. He waited for the ride keeper to open the locks and helped Shelby out. "Well the next thing we're gonna do, is gonna be a surprise. Don't worry, it's not something mischieveous to you." Ethan told Shelby. He held her hand and walked her to where they had the section where you could win tickets. When they got there Ethan noticed they had the shooting range, the strength tester, and the funhouse. Ethan wasn't in the mood to see creeps at the funhouse and he had a pretty bad aim with guns. He chose to win tickets from the strength tester, since he was fairly strong and that was the only thing he knew he could do right. He also knew that Shelby would love it if she showed his strength to win her a prize.

"Step right up, c'mon don't be stupid, win a 100 tickets if you can hit the machine hard enough. C'mon don't be shy" The game keeper said. To Ethan it was almost like he was talking to himself because no one was responding. He stepped to the game, and completely snatched the hammer from the games keeper. He fell in fear. Previously, Ethan had been working out so he was pretty pumped and ready for this. He smashed the machine real hard and it hit the bell at the top, Ethan had won the 100 tickets. The game keeper's mouth flew down in awe, but to Ethan it was nothing.

Shelby walked with Ethan after stiaghting out her skirt. she wonddered where he was takeing her and giggled when she hurd the game keeper calling forpeople to step up and try thier strangth. she staied a few steps away from ethan as he tried the game. she was stuned when the bell rang. the next instent she was huging him. "so strong," she said giggleing. she kissed him happy they where their haveing fun.

He smiled once he got the kiss from Shelby. He held her hand and walked to the stand with all of the prizes. While walking there he saw a bunch of little runaways trying to buy something with about 20 tickets that they all earned together. He laughed at them because Ethan won so much more than them playing only 1 game. They were still pretty distant from the stand so he asked Shelby a question. "Hmm so whats your favorite stuffed animal" Ethan said already implying that he was going to buy her something.

Shelby giggled when he asked her what her favorite stuff animal was. " i don't think i have a favorite," she said smileing up at him. then looking back at the little kids. "but if you have a few tickets left over would you mind sharing?" she asked him. her goodie-two-shoes or nice side was showing. she looked back up at him as they walked. she smiled slightly up at him. "at least they wouldn't know who i am." she said quietly. she was supposed to be this big mean person who thought she was better than every one else but she didn't always fell that way. even though she shared many of the same views as her family had about some people.

"Oh darling, none of these tickets are for me. They all belong to you, I thought you would've known by now, that's why I asked the question. You could buy as many stuff as you want" Ethan told Shelby with his warming smile. Now he could see the kids fighting over what to buy, and know they were right in back of them. "Hey kids beat it, scram, or I'll break your neck" Ethan threatened them. They ran in terror, just like basically all of the ride keepers. Ethan liked doing that, especially to little kids. He put the tickets on the desk.

"How many tickets" The ticket manager ask (lol I don't know what to call them xD)

"I dunno find out" Ethan replied. He made him count all 100 so Shelby had time to choose what she wanted. He could've bought anything there, except the overstuffed bear that was about the same height as Ethan. Who in the right mind would buy such a humongeous toy

"hey," Shelby said quietly watching the little kids run. "they where just kids." she whispered as they walked. she stayed close to Ethan as they walked. she smiled looking at all the prizes in the little sack like hut that was the prize center. she looked at the overstuffed bear and giggled. "its so fluffy." she said but knew they didn't have enough tickets for it. leaned into Ethan and pulled his arm around her waist so that his had rested on her hip. "which one do you like?" she asked. she wasn't really upset about how he had acted toward the excited kids because she could act the same way at times. so she really brushed it off.
