Suzannah had sat in her stuffy bedroom all day wondering what to do. Ever since she graduated, she didn't have a thing to do during the day. While her friends were off at their jobs or summer internships, Suz was at home doing nothing. Now that summer was over, some of her friends were available, but still, not many. Suz was beginning to feel lonely in her big home. Her brother was out all hours of the day and night, doing God knows what- Suzannah had assumed it had something to do with the Traverse girl, but she decided not to think about that. Tonight, however, Suz was going out; whether she was alone or not. Suzannah hadn't abused her adulthood completely yet, so tonight, she was going to the club, where she could freely and openly drink her night away.
Suz sat on her bed and strapped her tall heels on, and finished applying her makeup. "Look at you," She said to herself, "going to a club all alone, how pathetic." Sometimes, Suz hated herself. She barely had any friends, everyone hated her, and men took advantage of her. She occasionally found it hard to look at herself in the mirror. She would see herself as a whore, a b**ch, and a loner. But other times, she would see herself as the most popular and most gorgeous girl around. She knew girls where jealous of her good looks and her wealth, so she often milked it. Tonight was one of those nights. "Good thing you look hot." She smiled to herself and left the room.
The sun was beginning to go down, and the moon was taking it's place. It was funny, to see the almost instantaneous change happen around her as soon as the sun had set. Girls were wearing heavy makeup and huge platform heels. Men were becoming more "open" with their thoughts (Suz had got whistled at three times and two drunken men had made sexual slurs when she passed by).
Suzannah was thankful to see the Blue Moon nightclub right in front of her. She didn't like walking around by herself at night, especially on nights like these. Suz walked over toward the bar and ordered herself a Dragon Fire cocktail; she didn't want to bring out the hard liquor until later in the night. She stood by the bar, sipping her drink, and waited for a man to ask her to dance, or for someone attractive to talk to.
