A night at the carnival

After finding the perfect carnival which took awhile he immediatly ran to the common room to dress for the date. He slipped in the common room so Shelby didn't noticed he wasn't already dressed. He took off his normal clothes and put on his special occasion ones. The primary color was basically all white, no big diff. After he finished he waited in the common room for her to come out. "Shelby I'm ready" Ethan called out.

Shelby hurd Ethan call out and she took one last look in the mirrort straighten her top and try to smooth out her feathery black skirt. she saw Ethan and smiled slightly. "you lok handsom this eavening." she said not trying to flatter him or any thing. she hopped she was dressed appropriatley to go to a carnavle. she smiled at him likeing him even more already. if there was a perfect boy she thought he would be Ethan.

"Why thank you Shelby, you look terrible" Ethan said jokingly. This time he looked at her apperance and Ethan was more gladder to take her out tonight than ever. "You definitly do not look horrible, you look even more prettier than normal." Ethan complented her, actually meaning it. To him Shelby wasn't a girl that you would see in the movies who would like there spouse to carry them and fly them to fairy tale land. She seemed like she'd like to take it slow, she waited for Shelby and walked outside of the common room.

Since it seemed fairly late there was only about maybe 2 or 5 students getting to the common rooms before their curfew begins. Unfortunatly for Ethan, he didn't give two shits what the curfew was. He fell asleep when he felt like it. While he was walking it out he saw some teachers getting ready for the night shift. He quietly sneaked past them and they were already in the grounds at Hogwarts. Eventually the came across the bridge the lead to Hogsmeade. They passed with eased and entered London.

"So Shelby are you ready for some fun at the carnival tonight" Ethan asked her.

Shelby silently walked throw the castle and grounds then hogsmeed. she watched him with a small smile on her face. once he spoke she pursed her lips. "Yeah" she said smileing. she felt like she could be her self a round him. unlike her last date who she threated to kill with her bare hands if he didn't stop compareing her to her to her family and learn some manners. "are you?" she asked.

"Of course I am" Ethan said smiling at Shelby. While walking through the millions of closed stores and dark streets. He realized that he was getting much closer to the carnival. I should start thinking about rides to go on. The carosel ?, The ferris wheel ?, maybe we should play some games first. I don't know, we'll find out when we get there. Ethan thought. He turned and looked at Shelby. "So is there any particular ride you'd like to go on first" Ethan asked hearing he happy screams of children and adults coming closer.

"I'd never know where to start," Shelby said smileing at the screams that came from up ahead. "what do you suggest?" she asked smileing up at him messing with one of the jewels that lined the knack of her Tank top. she brushed the hair out of her face happy she had let her self come instead of locking her self in one of the study rooms and studying. "i've never been to one of these things before. spent so much time at home as a child." she said quietly goosebumps forming on her arms. 'i should have brought a jacket,' she thought 'oh well,'.

Wow she's never been to a carnival before, Heh she's gonna have more fun then I thought she was gonna have Ethan thought smiling confidently. He watched as the goosebumps were formed on Shelby's arm, he stopped walking. "Would you like to use my jacket Shelby, it is pretty cold outside." Ethan asked. He already had taken off his jacket because it'd be a pretty dumb thing to refuse and Shelby did not look dumb to him. He waited for her answer so they could continue to the carnival which was probably about 5 feet away now.

"But don't you need it?" Shelby asked him. "i can survive with out one." she looked at him smileing he was a nice guy. not many guys would have offered her his jacket. "your going to make me take it or think im stupid if i say no." she said seeing that he wasn't the one to give up easily. "okay i'll use it but if you get cold im giveing it back." she said taking the jacket and slipping it around her shoulders. she really had thought it would be warmer than it was.

"I'd never think your stupid, I'm pretty sure your smarter than me. I don't care if I have hypothermia you need the jacket more than I do. Trust me it's fine, I feel pretty warm anyways." Ethan said showing a warm smile. Eventually after 2 seconds of walking they finally reached the carnival. Ethan paid the admission fee with some money he stole from a 2nd year gryffindor #hint *hint*. He paid for himself and Shelby and went inside with the carnival. From where they were standing they could see the huge ferris wheel, a boat that swung all around, tents filled with games and many rollercoasters."Hey Shelby wanna try the rollercoaster first." Ethan smiling.

Shelby blushed a little at what he said and fallowed him into the carnival. she looked a round with bright eyes and a huge smile. "which one is that again?" she asked "i didn't really pay much attention when i was a kid." she looked up at him not caring what he knew about her. "the one thing is a Farris wheel. please tell me the roller coaster isn't in one of the tents." she added expecting a huge ride not something stupid and small. she ran her hand through her hair and took a step closer to his side so that they were almost touching.
