wedding plans (delilah)

steven smiled and folowed her to the kitchen leaning on the door frame " sounds perfect " he said " and they so will be ready for bed I think the littlest ahd taken a shine to him " he said seening the smaller of the pups sitting now on his knee curled up asleep on him . He smiled as Cara looked back at him and nodded with an understanding the small pup would stay with them always protecting Dylan.

Delilah smiled then started to cook dinner humming as she worked. in few hours it was ready and she was eating to table "will you go tell dylan that dinner is ready?" she asked steven as she put the fried chicken on the table then the rest of the food fallowed and it was all ready when for when they came in. "make sure he washes his hands," she called after steven. then looked at Cara. "your pups are wonderful and cute." she said smileing at the wolf.

Sreven smiled and nodded " sure" he moved to the door "DYLAN, DINNER!!!" he shouted "BRING PUDDING WITH YOU" meaning the small pup who was running behind him. he tuned and watched as Cara moved to Delilah her nose touching her tummy and she sat down " she kows your with pup , as she calls it " he said smiling sitting bck down at the table " yes Cara she is " he said to her as Cara chuffed a soft bark at him " she's said pudding can stay with Dylan he's not make it out in the world but she feels as a thank you to your son for keeping them happy pudding will protect him" he said back in the chair " you sure cara?" he asked her and she lowered her head " ok hes welcome to stay but he has to meet sunny Dylans dog freind" Cara nodded and lay down " ok, she says they will get along and she'll talk to pudding, don't blame me for the name Cara already named him."

Delilah smiled and patted the wolf on the head, "you really are wonderful," she said finding it hard to belive this wild animal was so tame and would not hurt her or dylan but protect him. all of this made her wonder why they told you not to make pets of wild animals. "and your a grate mom too. much better than my self." she whispered the last part not exactly wanting steven to hear her douts in her parenting skills. she sat down next to steven as dylan and the pup came in. "wash your hands." she told him and dylan stopped at the sink.

steven moved to sit with her watching her with Cara " why is cara laughing " he asked as he looked confused at the wolf then at Delilah " shes saying your not and that your cub is funny" he said chukaling as he lent over to kiss her deeply " I think your wonderful " " he said and smiled watching Pudding pad in and sit with Dylan he ahd to admit Pudding did seem a silly name but it was what Cara called him.

"I told her she was a good mother, a better mother than i am." Delilah whispered answering Stevens question. she kissed steven. then started to put some food on Dylan's plate. "Do you want a leg?" she asked. "yeah," Dylan said smileing. that was one of his favorite parts of the chicken because you could pick it up with your hands and just eat it. Delilah put it on his plate along with Mashed potatoes crazy a roll with butter on it and corn. "I don't want no corn," Dylan said. "yes you do," Delilah said smileing at him. "becuase it will make you big and strong like daddy."

Steven sighd and kissed her quickly " your agood mother , just look at Dylan" he said and smiled as she dished up the food " yes it does Dylan its good for you " he said and took some for himself too , he took some meat and the mash and started to eat " wow nice " he said smiling" yoour a great cook Delilah" he fiiahed his meal and sat back waatching Dylan and pudding " don't give puding your bone he could choke hes still too small for it yet" he said

Delilah smiled at him weakly, "i thought dogs couldn't have chicken bones because they spintered and they could tear at the tissue in thir throught and stuff." she said before takeing a bite of mashed patatos then a sip of milk. "i won't give the bone to pudding," he said smileing. delilah was amazed by how quickly he had seemed to forget about sunny. she pushed the food on her plate around sliently smileing and slowly rubbing her tummy.
