Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

A Day in the Sun Empty A Day in the Sun

Delilah walked throw London a small hand clenched in her own. She was trying to keep Dylan as close to her self as possible. They were getting ready to cross the street to a park and she bend down to pick up Dylan not feeling he was old enough to walk across the street even if she was holding his hand. She seat Dylan down once again once they where across the street. He took off running towards the jungle gym and Delilah fallowed close behind.
“Momma look!,” Dylan shouted in delight pointing at the monkey bars.
“oh not right now my little monkey boy. Mommas shoulders are hurting,” Lilah said
“But Momma,” Dylan whined stomping his foot on the rocks.
“Later I promise,” she told her son, “lets go over to the swings and I’ll push you,” she said and Dylan ran off again with a smile on his face.

A Day in the Sun Empty Re: A Day in the Sun

Rodgey remembered when he was younger and how he had brought his little brother and his god sister to the very same park he sat on a bench in. He didnt remember much about his brother though. he had died when Rodgey was about to turn 12. and now that his sister hated his guts and had run away, Rodgey was left to walk to the park everyday without a single child around to bring with him. How he longed to get his sister and bring her home. How he wished that his brother had never died so that he could still bring him around sometimes. And now, He was all alone for the rest of the school year and maybe for the rest of his life without his brother or sister.

As Delilah chased after Dylan she tripped over the feet of a buy who sat on a bench "Dylan," She called as she stumbled, "come back here!" she regained her balance then turned to the guy she had tripped over "I'm so sorry," She said as Dylan ran back to his mother and throw his arms around her legs throwing Delilah of balance again. "hey you," She said smiling and picking up her son after regaining her balance once again. "you need to be more careful." she said and Dylan clung to her neck.
To the guy she said "sorry, i wasn't watchign where i was going. i was trying to ceatch up to this little bugger." She said holding Dylan close to her.

in the middle of thinking, rodgey heard the voice of a lady. He looked up at her. "Its alright.. I wasnt paying attention.. Didnt even notice it." He said before he noticed the little boy running over to her. "Who's this big guy?" He asked, smiling as he stood up. "Oh.. By the way. My name's Rodgey." He said putting his hand out for the little boy to high five. The boy looked maybe 3 or 4 years old, Just about the Age as James was before he had passed away. Though, Rodgey thought he was 5 but.. He couldnt remember for sure.

Dylan Reached out and gave the man a high five. "This is Dylan," Delilah said not very comfortable with this guy yet. not sure if he was a good person or if he would hurt her son. "I"m Delilah," She added supporting Dylan with one arm reaching out to shake hands with rodgey with the other hand. Dylan lay his head on his moms shoulder. "Dylan, Hun are you tired?" she asked and the boy shook his head. "You sure your not ready for a nap?" she asked again. "No, Momma no Nappie." he said struggling to get out of her arms. Delilah held onto him not sure what she would do if he ran off again.

"Well... Dylan is an adorable little boy." rodgey said looking between the two. "I think he would grow up to be a good guy when he is bigger." Rodgey looked around still a bit distracted with the thought of how he missed his brother and sister. "dylan seems to be around the age my brother was.. Before he died. he looks just as adorable." Rodgey commented, hoping to gain their trust. rodgey really wasnt that bad of a guy. Unless you knew what his sister did just because he had told her she wouldnt go anywhere again without him around besides school. It made her really upset that she ran away from him.

"I'm Sorry to hear about your brother," Delilah said a hint of sadness in her eyes. Dylan was the only thing keeping her alive and running at the present time. she didn't' know what she would do if he wasn't in her life. if she didn't have Dylan she wouldn't have a reason to live. "Sorry if i seem like I'm distrusting to every one but i got to keep him safe. i have no idea what would happen if i didn't have him. Dylan is the only person i have right now." she said and Dylan said "mommy i want to go play." she wasn't sure what do to but reluctantly she put her son down and said "stay close don't run off and don't leave the park." "Okay Mommy," he said and ran towards the jungle gym. she moved so she could keep an eye on him.

"My brother died a good 8 years ago." Rodgey said , his smile fading a bit. He actually liked talking to her. It wasnt like when he talked to his other friends. He actually liked talking to her. Even if she was a few years older than him. "For you.. All that needs to matter is keeping him safe and finding a man to help raise him if im not mistaken." He said, His smile sort of coming and going now. "Keeping him safe is a good thing to do especially since you dont have anyone else to share your life with at the moment." He wasnt meaning it by anything. all he meant was that she was lucky with what she had and he knew she loved what she had alot.

"that must have been hard on your whole family," Delilah said smiling as she watched her son playing. "am i really that easy to read?" she asked glancing at Rodgey when he defined her perfectly. "the sad thing is his father can never know Dylan exist. i couldn't risk hurting Dylan like that. it would be horrible if his father got to know him then just up and left like he was known to do so long ago." she said sadly remembering the morning when she was 19 she had fallen asleep in her best friends arms and when she woke up he was gone. not long after she found out she was going to have a baby.

"Your not as easy to read to me then to my sister. If you knew my sister, She could read more about you then what I just said there." Rodgey said, his smile back full on. "Its not like his father has to know anyways. If he left like that then he has no right to come back into your life just to meet his child then leave making the child upset. If I were you, i'd find someone else and when Dylan is older I'd tell him exactly what had happened about his real father so that if he wants to try and find him he can and if he thinks he is a jerk and would rather stay and live life normally then he could do that." He said, watching the little guy with her.
