Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

I do xD, I miss that. But again, sometimes the way someone's day is going contributes and stuff. Cause If I've had a bad day I don't even want to log into PA sometimes. So we need to think of ways to make people want to log into PA. And someones mojo, so maybe a thread of awesome songs for people to listen to to get them motivated.

Wait so we're being encouraged to interrupt people's threads now?

Well, no, I think that if you want to interrupt a topic, if it doesn't say open, look into it and make an educated decision on whether it would be suitable to join the thread or not.

If you're unsure, use this:

((Hey, Mind if I join? Or does this reeeally need to be a private topic?))

If they say no, make them feel guilty, mention boredom xD

But yes, this does encourage such things, but it also more encourages people not making private topics in the first place.

What I find is that members seem to not only stick with certain people. but also stick only with Admins sometimes. It's hard for me to even find a decent RP anymore that I was allowed in. Furthermore, it seems that the Admins are the ones that get more attention only because they're high ranking. It's a nuisance, and I've put up with it.
