Haven't we met before?

Faylen thought about her question and shrugged. "Well I dont really know, Im not normally out in the light like this." He said putting a finger to his forehead. He was getting sleepy now. The light was what was making him tired though. He closed his eyes for a second and fell asleep. He hadnt ment to, most likly he'll wake up feeling like an idoit.

Samantha smiled at his answer, he was a simple guy. He said what was on his mind and he didn't lie about it. But before Sammy could ask him another question she looked over at him and he was asleep. She didn't know if he had had very little sleep the night before, but he looked adorable when he slept. So she layed down next to him a few inches away, and closed her eyes. In no time she was out too.

When Samantha woke up she was curled up in Faylens arms, but he was asleep to. So she must have rolled over and layed on him. She decided to quickly sit up without waking him up. In vampire speed she was sitting up and leaning on the tree again. She hoped that he hadn't felt it, because if he doesn't feel like that about her, then this was going to be a very embarasing moment. She realized that it was dark outside. 'How long was I asleep?' Samantha asked her self looking down at her watch and seeing that it was about 11:00 pm. She looked up at the sky and it really was beautiful.

Faylen moved in his sleep as he felt Samantha move off on him. He slowly woke up and blushed slightly. He sat up rubbing his head and looked at Samantha sheepishly. "How long was I out?" He said embarassed. "Im so sorry I fell asleep on you when we were talking, I didnt get much sleep yesterday. I.." He said pausing looking at the sky and sighed smiling. He loved the night sky a lot. "Beautiful." He whispered gazing up at the stars.

Samantha blushed as she seen Faylen blush. Her vampire abilities made it easier for her to see in the dark, but not as well as an animal. "Oh not long. It's only 11:00 pm." Samantha said watching him look up at the night sky and say it was beautiful. "Yeah it is. The stars are so far away and some of them are gone even though we can still see them. But they sure are beautiful." Samantha said scooting forward to look past the tree limbs, leaned back to be comfortable while looking at the stars. Then suddenly felt her hand touch his. In vampire speed she was standing up and leaning against the tree and facing the other direction. 'What was I thinking coming out here? I can't have feelings for someone while I keep going back and forth between good and bad.' Sammy thought, realizing that if he saw her move it would have been almost like a blurr.

Faylen smiled continueing to watch the stars but felt Samantha's hand touch him but then it was gone before he could react. He stood up quickly and seen she had useed her speed and was facing away from him. He walked over to her slowly and put a hand on her shoulder. "Are you ok?"He asked his eyes shinning in the night.

Samantha heard Faylen get up and come over and touch her shoulder gently. She slowly turned around, her eyes lighter from being worried. "What is all this? The romantic starry night sky? The trusting me after I almost killed you? I like you Faylen. And with how I have been lately I could wake up one morning and kill you, then regret it the next day. Please just tell me." Samantha said hoping that he said he didn't like her so that her worrying would be over. Being in a relationship right now would be very deadly for the guy, and having that worry with her and not knowing what she would be like any day, scared her. Losing Sophia, losing Keegan, and not having any friends made Sammy a nervous wreck.

Faylen smiled without meaning to. Then blushed when she said she liked him. "I... I..." He said stuttered. He tried to keep a straight face but couldn't help to smile and blush deeply. His dark blue eyes turned his orignal color a bright neon blue. "I.." He stuttered again. Why couldn't he get it out? He knew fully well he liked her, he also didn't know how to answer her questions. "I like you to.. and I really dont know how to answer your qeustion expect wear armor?" He said laughing but knew he shouldnt be laughing. He couldnt help it though this was the old Faylen before he came to Hogwarts, before all what happened to him had happened.

Samantha couldn't help but turn her head and frown as he started stuttering. She felt like knocking him sideways to make him stop stuttering. Finally he said what he was trying to say and she couldn't help but smile. She didn't know why she smiled, this only made things worse. She would be worrying about him everyday. But she couldn't help but think about the good things that would come from a relationship with him. The kissing, the hugging, the trust, the love. "You like me?" Samantha said taking a half step closer to him. "But at any point during a day I could go all evil and try and kill you. If we got into a relationship, would you stay with me even after all that?" Samantha asked him shyly looking down at the ground and holding her hands together nervously. The darkness felt like it was closing in on her. She wanted him to kiss her, to make all her worries go away.

Faylen smiled down at her and nodded. He grabbed her hands gently "Yes I would." He said. He took one hand and lifted her chin up gently and bent down kissing her on the lips. This shocked him as he never kissed someone or even had his first kiss yet and here he was kissing Samantha as if it were natural to him.

Samantha woke up this morning thinking about all the bad things that she had done over the last few days, but she never imagined she would be talking about a relationship with a gorgous guy like Faylen. When she heard him say that he would stay with her after even all that, she stopped breathing. Was he asking for a death wish? Then she felt him lift her chin so she was looking at him. She didn't know if he wanted to say something more or just look into her eyes. But then he leaned in and kissed her and she started breathing again. The kiss was so wonderful that when it ended she slowly put her arms around his neck and kissed him again. It was slow and passionate and felt so good after so long without feeling that way about a guy.
