But it's just easier in general to have something carved in stone before you start a huge thing. There isn't any telling on how long that thread will last. It may stop before the admins even have an idea of the task yet. If they have one before they start it, there's no need to worry.

I don't think the Champions would be told anything this early in anyway. If they were to be told, it would make sense more during the Weighing of the Wands. If we put this off, it may never happen...

Is our headmaster present? Can we please just have the champions announced so that the students can react? Other things, like explanations and meetings can take place later.

I'm sorry, I fail to see what there is to work on? All you really gotta do is start the feast.. because you don't need to know the first task in the feast thread.. or even in the weighing of the wands... you only need to know the first task.. when you start the first task.. which you don't need to know until Mid November, and at this rate, we won't even have our characters knowing who is the champion, until that point!

Chase, i know you don't get it because you don't always see what the admins are doing behind the scenes, but part of the excitement of the tournament is in the not knowing. Just because you don't see direct evidence that we're making daily changes that cause all sorts of dramatic action doesn't mean we're inactive or insensitive either one.

I am sorry you don't understand why we're doing things the way we are, but we are handling it. I appreciate your concern for the tournament and your tactful advice, and I will take it into consideration.

It's been a while, I think now might actually be a decent time to announce the winners. Just for now...cause it could take a while and give us plenty of time to come up with a task.
