N.E.W.T. Class 1

Rhea entered her classroom to prepare for her first ever class. That fact made her slightly nervous but she wasn't that worried. Whatever would happen would be good. This class would be simple, anyway. It was just an introduction to advanced divination. She would just explain what they would be doing throughout the year. Most of the period would be spent in lecture. Not exactly an exiting first lesson.

It would be the first thing they would see when they came into the brightly lit tower room. Unlike the previous teachers she didn't keep the room dim and dark. Only when needed was it to look so gloomy in this room. Rhea also was different from the other teachers because she wasn't a seer. This didn't bug Rhea but it also didn't settle well with some parents.

Making her way back to her desk Rhea sat down and prepared for the first students to filter in.

Salem climbed the ladder into the Divination room, realizing with a jolt that she was the first one there. She realized this may be a blessing in disguise, because it would allow for her to be able to hand the professor the note from her brother that explained her condition. Salem liked to start off the year getting that past them, so things were not expected out of her that she could not do.

She walked across the room, smiling softly at the professor before choosing a place to sit. She gently let her bag slide off of her shoulder as she began to rifle through it for one of the notes her doctor had given her. In truth, not being able to talk because of selective mutsim seemed like an elaborate scheme out of work, especially since it was proved only by thew note from her brother. But her parents did not care, and Nixen was like her guardian, and it was true. So she had little choice.

She extracted the note and stood, crossing the room quietly and pushing the note across the professor's desk to her. She offered her a nervous smile and hurriedly returned, slipping into her seat and pushing her black hair back with her heavily-bangled hand. She blinked her eyes that were covered in black makeup and awaited the rest of the class.

Simon clambered into the Divination room and his eyes turned over the room, trying to get a good feel for it. He was early; perfect. He dusted himself off and ran a hand through his hair, smiling at the professor and nodding his head, saying lightly, "Good morning, Professor." He sent her one of his award-winning smiles (the awards were given out in Simon McLaggen's Mind Monthly) and turned to view his options.

One girl was there already, though she seemed to be determinedly not making eye contact with him. Well... Simon may have been pompous, but he was not brave, and he was sure that you would have to be the cockiest Gryffindor to approach such an unorthodox and strange girl. He recognized her as a Ravenclaw his ownage, and even that was not enough for him to be warm to her.

"Good morning," he told her, if only to keep up appearances with the professor, though he looked somewhat off into the distance over her shoulder. He did not care what she thought of him. Only what his superiors thought, and she was definitely not that. He took a seat in the front, and wondered what the future of this class held... He smirked slightly.

The first student entered the classroom. It was a Ravenclaw girl. Rhea wondered if she should know who she was. That would be one downside of being a new teacher. It was an advanced divination class. Most of the kids would expect to be known at this point but with the new teacher everyone would be like a first year.

The Ravenclaw handed her a note that stated her medical condition. Rhea knew that there were not many disabled kids in this school so it was kind of ironic that her first student was one. She returned the smile, though it was brittle.

The second student entered. Also Ravenclaw, Rhea believed. This one was handsome for his age and his appearance resembled a student who had gone to school in her time. She couldn't quite put on her finger on it though.. She nodded to him and replied "Good morning"

Julia approached the classroom with her books pressed to her chest, early for a change. She noticed that the class was pretty empty, Divination was never a huge favorite among the students, but Julia loved to learn about it anyways. It was a fairly interesting subject, being able to see the future, or attempt to anyways. It was a very rare power, but it was fun to learn about it.

Julia looked around the room, searching for a seat, though there were only two other students. One was a dark-haired girl, with unsightly thick eyeliner, probably not the best student to sit near, the other was a boy, he was very handsome and was sitting in the front, which was the same place that Julia wanted to sit. She walked over, greeting the teacher as she passed her, and took a seat in the front, one desk away from the boy, and took her books out, ready for class.

Suzannah was not the least bit excited for her last year at Hogwarts, the only thing she had to look forward to was graduation, and then she would never have to step foot in that hellhole again. And to top everything off, she had Divination as her next class. Personally, she thought Divination sucked, but she needed to fill her schedule up completely because most of her friends graduated last year. Becca was also in her final year, but she found her best friend to be getting a bit irritating. And Thaor had been acting strange ever since school began again, and it was beginning to get a little awkward in their home. It probably had to do with the fact that he was a teacher, and she was a student. Teacher-Student relationships never usually worked out, but theirs seemed to be working just fine- until now.

Suz dismissed that from her thoughts, she didn't want to get upset already, and opened the door to the classroom. She noticed there were only three students there, one of which she hated, another she could tell she wouldn't like, and the last an incredibly hot boy. What a diverse class She thought to herself, I can definitely have fun with that one, though Her thoughts directed toward the boy. She never saw him before, perhaps he took Basic lessons last year, while she took NEWT. That didn't matter, however, because he was in her class now. Suz ignored the teacher as she walked past, and scowled at Julia- Traverse was pretty close to being Scorpius' boyfriend, the whore was always with him- not wanting anything to do with her. As she walked by the boy she purposely brushed her hip against his desk, smirking at him, and taking the desk behind his. Nothing like a good tease.

Simon was glad there were more people coming, it would be awkward having a class with only himself, the professor, and the weird, scary girl. Though he supposed he could always befriend the professor, find out what connections she had, get his name out there, the way his father had been able to do with most of his professors.

A girl sat next to him and he turned to smile at her. Oh boy, she was pretty. He knew that it was always best to look comfortable, at ease, and cool with every situation, but at heart, Simon was a total dork and he had to force himself to put on a fixed, cool smile when he turned to greet her.

He turned forward and a girl brushed his desk as she moved to take a seat... the one next to his! He glanced up as she sat and realized she was very pretty too. What was this? Pretty-girls-and-Simon sandwich? He blushed awkwardly at that and turned to the newer arrival, unable to pull off such a suave smile, but more of a twisted one. He turned forward, his heart pumping.

He was going to like this class... If he could get used to it.

Ash made her way up the stairs of the tower to her class grudgingly. She hated being back in the place. Oddly enough it was also her saving grace, because without it she'd have been out on the street or worse...having to actually spend time with someone she hated. She sighed as she reached the classroom walking in. She noticed that it was oddly bright in here for a divination class, she remembered all of the other teachers liked to keep it just a tad bit darker...a tad bit being much more than what this teacher was probably used to.

She greeted the teacher and made her way over to her seat. She looked around and noticed she was the only Gryffindor in the classroom. She really was out numbered in this aspect. She wondered if she'd be able to at least get along with the other students. She knew most people hated divination but then again, she had always had a fascination with something that wasn't completely set in stone and could change at a moments notice.

She sat down at her desk pulling her hair back with a hair bow she had kept around her wrist, as she looked at the board. She wondered if they would actually be taking notes today, or just doing the usual class introduction.

Louis sat down in the Divination class waiting for introuductions. He sat down with his book. He was wishing to leave and got down to the Quidditch Pitch to practice for tryouts unfourtantley he had to be in Divination N.E.W.T. He looked around. He only had a couple of things in his mind. When would class start, when would it end, and most importantly........ When would tjey end that dead end show Hannah Montana. I'm Bored.
