End of Summer Party

Jess smiled as the final lantern was made, and levitated into the air, joining a whole fleet of others, lazily drifting across the sky, waiting to be lit. The sun was lazily falling skywards, heading to set, sparking the arrival of a few early-rising crickets.

He remembered something, turning quickly and waving his wand at a patch of empty grass, waving it and watching as it transfigured itself into a medium sized dance floor, well capable of fitting the projected number of guests.

He then took a final look around, there was a group of tables filled with food, a small bar with a bartender behind it, as well as a cage containing a bunch of picnic rugs for the people to sit on, it really was quite a relaxed event.

Grabbing one of the rugs he rolled it out on the ground, sitting down and waiting for the guests to arrive

Jessica and jack were the first to arrive jack aperating in with jessica wrapped securly in his arms , he kised her as they appeared on the grass. Jessica smiled "you haven't kissed me like that in years " she said with a grin jack shrugged.


"Not had any cause to , wow" he said looking around 2this reminds me of the night you fell with andrew " he said grining Jessica looked sturnly at him."what?" he asked.

"No I am not pregnant and you can't ask me to marry you again " she said smiling as she brushed down her light blue tight fitting dress and slipepd on her heels as she sawJess standing looking proud wwith him self.

"HEY JESS!!!" she said and walked over "This place looks incredable " she said "how have been keeping your self ?" she asked a bit informal but wasn't that what the night was all about, relaxing and having a little down time.

Brienne came alone, sulky but she was willing to try to have some semblance of fun.

She'd come to know about the affair by invitation. This would mark the beginning of the last year she'd ever spend in Hogwarts before graduation. There'd been a tradition since Silas started to raise her that whenever there was a graduate in the family, they'd hang their favorite seventh-year robe up on a special wall of the cabin, each robe had to be one that indicated what house said graduate was in. Silas did it, Daniel did it, now she'd do it. Seven years from now, Luna would be doing it. If only Silas lived to have seen the tradition live on.

Mariana decided at the last minute to come to this party. It was still light though sun was slowly going to be replaced by night. Night always seemed rather good for parties for some reason. She came alone apparating almost directly to the dance floor. Only few inches more and she would have.

Her dress was silky light purple/black combined though it went well with her siluette. Her hair was painted to less shiny red though it was still rather obviously red to anyone that knew how to distinguish colors.

She started walking lazly around the circle that was a dance floor wondering would it be too early to have a drink. After not deciding this she took a glass of firewhiskey and started drinking it while looking around to see if she would find a dance partner or drown in her sorrow as usually.

Sophia appeared at the party ad smiled when she realized she was pretty early which made her smile brightly. Sophia was wearing a starpless golden dress with her locket her father gave and her Sophia necklace Nikki gave her as well as the braclet Andrian gave her. Her makeup was light with gold eyeshaow with alittle blush and lipgloss and her jet black hair was down and in nice curls cascading down her back. As she seen Jess and Mari she smiled and waved at them. "Hey Jess, the place looks amazing!"said Sophia looking around amazed. Sophia looked around for Khaat or her parents but didn't see them anywhere around but she knew they would show up.

Mariana finally saw Sophia though it would be hard not to since she was waving and the place was almost empty. "Hey sis how are you doing today?" she asked approaching to her in great speed or at least the greatest she could on high heels. "Your dress is so yellow. You look beautiful.." she said smiling before she realized her thought was loud again. "I mean yellow used to be my colour. I guess i'll have to compete for it now." she added quickly trying to clearfy her last loud thought.

Abbey, still not being old enough to apparate, flew her broomstick towards the meadow in which the summer party was being held. Her light blue dress blew in the wind. She pushed it down with one hand; the last thing she wanted to happen was arrive at the party flashing everyone.

Finally, she touched down in the meadow that she had been instructed to go to. Beautiful lush green grass was everywhere, surrounded by trees and wonderful decorations that decorated the secluded area. Abbey placed her broomstick against a tree and looked around for anyone she knew....

Keegan appeared at the part and gasped as he seen the beautiful decorations before him. "They did a good job."said Keegan to himself. As he seen Sophia talking to Mariana he smiled and walked over towards them. "Hello ladies, don't you to look very beautiful tonigh."said Keegan giving them a soft warm smile. Keegan himself was wearing a black long sleeve buttoned shirt that had white design on each side with his black leather jacket over it with his black shoes. He looked around for Samantha but didn't see her anywhere but it was still early.

Sammy arrived to the party on broom, since she wasn't old enough to apperaite yet. She couldn't wait to learn. She looked around at the decorations. They were stunning. She smiled at the beauty. She then looked around for people she knew. She waved at some, then found Sophia, Keegan, and Mari standing together. She walked up to them and smiled. "Hey Sophia, Mari, and Keegan love. You all look wonderful." Sammy said to them hoping for a good responce in return. She kissed Keegan then held his hand, then looked back at Sophia and Mari. "This place looks wonderful, don't you guys think so." Sammy said looking up at the decorations when she said it.

No sooner had they arrived, than Angelique's parents left her standing to go chat and drink with friends. She was used to it. Angelique knew her role within her family and it was to get consistent Os so her parents would have something to boast about if the subject of offspring should happen to come up in conversation.

Other than that, she was free to do as she wished. Looking around at the partygoers, Angelique felt sorry for all the girls her age hanging off the arms of the boys they'd decided to tether themselves to. Idiots, one and all.

Nearby, one of those idiots was commenting on the decorations. Angelique glanced around. She supposed the decorations were tastefully understated, which was probably a first for any party held by anyone in the wizarding world, but she wasn't going to admit that.

"It doesn't look dreadful," she invited herself into their conversation.
