Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Bringing Jess to the Headmaster - Page 6 Empty Re: Bringing Jess to the Headmaster

Wilson seemed to have some undue concern that Archer was present, but Khaat truly couldn't have been less intimidated by her at the moment. Khaat was only interested in Jess's wellbeing. Sandra Archer or not, Khaat was not going to let Jess be further injured by being tied up. They truly did not understand or care the risk they were putting Jess in by being tied, with as severe as his injuries were, and she was being ignored on that point. But she also had to show she was neutral here, and that was going to confuse the daylights out of Jess. Oh well, maybe someday he would forgive her--if he lived through this. She also considered, briefly, that Vincent or Sandra might fire at her. Oh well, another calculated risk. She fired a bolt of wandless magic at Jess that untied him, but just as quickly she lowered him into a chair.

"Sit down and shut up, Jess," she told him with a highly unusual quiet fierceness that she knew well that Vincent could still hear. "You make one false move here, and I swear, wand or no wand, I will turn you into an insect, put you in a little jar, and let you spend the rest of your days on Vincent's shelf. And don't you think for one instant I don't know the spell. Do you understand me?"

Vincent rolled his eyes at Khaat when she said that speaking loudly would agitate Jess and possibly make him hurt himself. It might be true, but Vincent still wanted to hear everything Khaat was telling him. Perhaps he was being paranoid, but he couldn't trust her. She was still an order member, so was Wilson.

Shrugging at the fact that a sleeping potion would not help the healing process, he guessed he would just have to bear with it then. He wasn't going to allow Jess out of site though, he was staying in the office. He frowned as he saw Khaat untie him, sit him on a seat, then command him not to do anything stupid. As if that was possible. "Hah, and thats not going agitate him right?" Vincent asked sarcastically, unable to stop himself from saying that.

He turned to Wilson and Sandra, for a moment he had forgotten her presence. "Don't worry Wilson I'll keep him safe in the office," he assured him. Vincent definitely did not want the idiot to die either. "Also, Wilson, I will be very thankful if you deliver these apology letters to the parents." He handed him the messages he had written for parents of the graduates. "And Sandra,, I don't think there is any emergency now. So your dismissed to," he added, flicking his wand to open the door for both of them. He was growing a bit annoyed at their company. They were just bickering with each other

Khaat watched Sandra leave and didn't know whether Wilson would stay or not, but it was really immaterial to her. She looked back at Vincent. "So, I think the last thing I need to see to before I finish with Jess is seeing to it that he can rest. The sooner he can rest, at least somewhat comfortably, the sooner you can do whatever it is you plan to do with him. And the sooner, hopefully, we can have him back. You do plan to return him to us alive, don't you, when he's of no further use to you?"

Her last question did not surprise him much, he had expected her to ask it. "I plan to, I can't say the same for Sandra," he told her honestly. "Though if she has any sense she will return him. I don't want a battle anymore than you do." Jess Potter's death would no doubt trigger a full on attack by the order, which Vincent doubted they could handle. The Death Eater member amount was much exaggerated. They were half of what the Order and the Ministry had. Personally, he would prefer to catch them off guard, then slaughter their members, or perhaps capture the ministry somehow - unlike the order, they were powerhungry and corrupt. "Though I doubt Sandra would kill him. Provided he co-operates with them," he added, not using 'us' on purpose. Once again, he looked around the room almost nervously. Three order members now. They could attack at any moment. They would no doubt be killed if they did so, but the members of the Order of Pheonix had never been smart. They were brave and noble to a fault. "And don't worry, he'll stay in my office but I'll make sure he's getting rest."

"Well, in all honesty, Sandra Archer does not concern me. I don't see her as being stupid, but I am quite confident that you could well handle it if you needed to. If she is foolish enough to want to do any permanent harm of any sort to Jess, I am quite confident you could fine some creative way of seeing the error in her thinking," she told him. "We both know that sort of ill thought out idea would do far more harm than good to both our organizations." She realized she was taking perhaps the biggest risk with her relationships with both Jess and Vincent by just handing Jess over to Vincent, but in all practicality that was already accomplished. "I suppose, then, I am no longer needed. I will leave the pain potion with you. One dose minimally ever 8 hours until I return, but no more often than ever 6 hours. If it requires more potion than that for him to tolerate his pain, you must send for me because it would surely signal some unforeseen medical complication that could be quite serious. I will return tomorrow then, if you have nothing else for me today. And I presume I can take my wand back before I leave?"

It wasn't the organizations he cared for really, Vincent had no no more love for the Death Eaters than he had for the Order. In fact, he would love to see most of the Death Eaters dead. It was what they deserved. But for now, he needed them, and therefore had to make sure they didn't do anything stupid that would lead to their destruction. Because it would also mean his. "No worries Khaat, I swear that he will return alive," he repeated. Alive, though probably in a significantly worse shape. He scowled at the fact that he would have to give him potions, he had expected that, but it would still be quite a nuisance. Perhaps he would just give the task to a house-elf.

Suddenly realizing he had three wands in his hand ( his, Jess' and Khaat's) he quickly found Khaat's and handed it back to her. "By the way," he said in a quiet voice. "Did you do anything about the Dents?"

"Thank you," she smiled, putting the wand in her bag. It was unnecessary here. "And, no. I haven't done anything about the Dents yet. The only thing I've done is to move. I don't live in Hogsmeade anymore. I do not want to be that easy for Rob to find. He is considerably poorer now since his trip to Azkaban, and my guess is that at some point he will try to strongarm me into giving back the sum that the ministry awarded me when they confiscated his illgotten funds. So, I have closed up the Hogsmeade cottage and gone into, well, basically, hiding. If Rob leaves me alone, I'll leave him alone. If he makes one move towards my child, I will kill him. If he's smart, he'll stay as far away from me as he can. But thank you for asking. Unless I hear otherwise from you, I will plan on coming tomorrow morning to see Jess." She knew the next few days were not going to be pleasant for Jess by any means, but she did believe that Vincent would return him alive. He didn't have to do that, but she did believe him.

"Thank you, Vincent," she smiled. "I will see you in the morning, then." She turned and left quietly, giving one last look to Jess before she left.
