Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

''What information could he possibly have? The Order was as good as disfunctional before this started! But, never mind that. I do not care what you do with him, I knew him as a colleagues, but the students are more important to me than him. Yes, they are safe, but you, as Headmaster, should not be allowed to take that attitude? And why is a certain Sandra Archer dictating what should be done in this school? You are the Headmaster, for Peter's sake.'', he said. ''And what did you want me for, exactly?'', he asked.

He heard Jess saying something. ''And what are you mumbiling? You are the cause of this, you idiot! Keep quiet!'', he said, firing a Quietus at him wandlessly.

"Why she is able to control what happens in this school? Because her minions are what is protecting this school from the ministry and the order right now, or they would come take it as soon as they leave," Vincent replied with a touch of impatience and annoyance. "Why I called you here? Two things. First, I need veriteserum, and I hear you can make it, we don't have any other potions master in this school. I am aware it takes 28 days to make, so you should get started now. Secondly, and more importantly, I need to ask you something. Which side do you stand on Wilson? You say you work only to protect the students? it doesn't look like it. And I'm starting to believe Jess, perhaps you are not so loyal to the school, and to me, as I thought in the first place Wilson," he said, frowning. Vincent was sure though, that Wilson knew he wouldn't fire him, he was too important to fire, and besides, he was already short on teachers. "I know your friend McCoy definitely isn't. I think you will find him down at the great hall, tell him to pack his bags and leave on the morrow." [Your new graduate can take transfiguration instead. Assuming Vincent remains headmaster till next year]

''Word gets through very fast. It seems Kingsley forgot to eliminate the papers for my Potions Master application. Yes, I can make it, in fact, I always have some, not on me, currently, but I have some. But, we do have a Potions Master, Doyle, the chap disappearing after the... well, ceremony. I think it would be more appropriate for him to secure you Veritaserum, but as you wish'', Wilson replied, calmly. ''As for McCoy... he is by my side. His outburst was more than inappropriate, but he has that sort of temper... he felt you endangered the students, which you have, and he reacted like that. I do tend to react calmer. And, as Deputy Headmaster, secured to me by Kingsley (that is a lie of course, but there is no way Majere would know that), I shall veto your decision. He shan't teach, I mean, the term is over, all that is left to do is some paper-work, well only I have to do it, McCoy had already done it, and the classes are over. We have both taught what we have planned and that much is over. He shan't pack his bags, he shall stay here, but he will cause no trouble, I can guarantee you that much'', he added. He then stopped for a moment, looking at Jess, and then laughing. ''Vincent, you know me well enough to know that my first and foremost loyalty lies with the school. If I am against the Dark Army it does not have to mean I am for the Order. But, what is the point of all of this... I stand with the School and all of those defending its interests. I think the answer is clear... I support all of those supporting the school'', he replied, calmly and coldly.

Vincent finished the letter to Sandra, while listening to Wilsons speech. Putting the parchment aside, he started a new letter to Khaat. When he said he would veto the decision, Vincent ground his teeth. Well Wilson, lets see if you can veto my decision if I fire you he thought venomously, but said nothing. "I expect him to control his temper better. Next time he acts like that he will see worse consequences I assure you. But I believe in second chances, so I guess he can stay," he decided, with a shrug. He would keep an eye on McCoy though, and on Wilson as well. "I do hope so Wilson, but we'll see about that soon," he added, before getting up and putting Khaats letter on his owl and telling it where to go. "If there is nothing else, you may leave now."

''We shan't see anything that has not yet be seen, Vincent, I assure you. If you are relying on Potter to tell you anything, don't be so... full of hope. As I have said, my loyalties lie with the school... if you support the school, you do not have to worry, but only if you truly support IT, that is. And the potion, lad?'', he asked.

"Bring it to me as soon as possible. I'd rather not ask this Doyle person. He is not potions master yet, I'll see if he is the right man for the job though. He might be disrespectful, but we really need a good potions teacher next year," Vincent said thoughtfully. "No matter, I will think about it later and then decide. Just bring the potion to me as soon as it is done. Your dismissed."

Khaat received a message from Vincent requesting her at his office. She had no hesitation about responding to Vincent's request, but she wasn't sure what he wanted. She slung her leather bag on her shoulder and responded at once. She apparated to just outside the Hogwarts grounds and made her way inside the castle, passing by the Death Eaters on sentry duty and was allowed to pass upstairs to the Headmaster's office. She knocked on the door and waited.

''I'll put a good word in for him, although I doubt your decision will be a problem. And yes, one think... I want to be present when you use that potion... you know, after all, that its use is illegal and I am the one that will be blamed if anything goes wrong, which means, legally, that I have to be present. Do you need it this moment? I can have it brought within a few minutes?'', he asked.

Vincent hesitated for a minute, then shook his head. It would be good to question him today, Vincent was quite impatient, but it was better to wait until Jess was in a better mental state. Being concious seemed to be difficult for him right now. "Tommorow I guess," he said with a shrug. "He's not going anywhere.

Vincent thought he knew who that was, so he waved his wand to make the door open. "That was quick Khaat," he said appreciatively. "Thanks for coming. You see, Jess here sort of got injured when the Death Eaters attacked him," he lied with a frown. He had probably injured him the most, but he didn't want to say that for obvious reasons. "You are a talented healer I've heard. It would be a great favor to me if you heal him to the best of your ability." Vincent kept his hand on his wand as well. Friend though she might be, Vincent did not trust her. There were two order members in the room, and though both were weaker than him, they could overpower him and take Jess away. He hadn't considered that, but he doubted Khaat would attack him anyways.
