Learning to fly...again

Andrew flew fast trying to catch up with the furious bludger, yet it would not want to get close to Andrew. Odd, it was always trying to kill him. He flew quickly, leaning forward to gain more balance and speed as he tore quickly through the air. Finally, Andrew caught up with bludger and arched his arm back for the swing. this time, Andrew had gotten used to swinging it and hit it directly in the back. It flew towards Jacks goalpost and he waited for her move.

Jack made an obnoxiously obvious yawn and then braced herself as the Bludger flew towards her. She turned on her broom and then swung the Bludger right back towards Andrew.

Andrew had not been expecting seeing the bludger fly straight at him, he quickly barrel rolled out of the way of the bludgers line of fire and then turned around. It went faster with the force applied to the bludger with Jacks hit. He flew forward, still being faster than the bludger thanks to his Firebolt, and then aimed his arm towards the bludger. If he couldn't hit it while flying straight, he may as well hit with as much force. Andrew used both hands on the bat and when he was close, swung at it with all his force, going into a barrel roll to transfer energy. The bludger flew upwards and Andrew continued his pursuit. He used both hands again, but this time smashed downwards on the bludger, barely grabbing onto the front of his broomstick as he did a barrel roll. The bludger then flew at quick speeds as it approached Jack and her goal.

Jack saw the Bludger pelting towards her and knew it was flying at a faster speed. With each hit it had gained momentum and was now rather dangerous. She stopped in her tracks and held her bat with both hands. Time to slow it down. She held her bat as hard as she could as the Bludger collided with it. The force of it made her spin in two circles, but she had held tightly and it had slowed down and was heading away from the goal. She righted herself and flew after it, tapping it lightly to give it more and more speed before smacking it at her goal.

Andrew groaned when she blocked it. He was not a good bludger and felt like he had no chance. She was a better bludger player, that was no doubt. He quickly flew after Jack, trying to go at top speed, and head after the bludger. He tried to swerve his way in front of Jack, yet in the end couldn't get in front of her and get to the bludger in time. So he had to choose one or the other. Making his decision, Andrew flew after the bludger and then hit it hard with the bat, and aimed it high, He then flew vertically upwards in a roll and then hit it again towards Jack's goal and watched, hanging upside-down.

The second the Bludger was gone from Jack's control, she turned sharply and flew towards her goal as fast as possible, reaching it just in time to block the hoops and send it flying at Andrew. "Getting tired?" she called, smirking.

"Actually yes," he said honestly flying towards the ground. As soon as he was close to the ground, he jumped off his broom and then sat on the grass, trying to catch his breath. "I didn't know this stuff could wear you out!" he said laughing as he threw the bat next to him. He looked back over at Jack and said "You can hit it aroundnow if you want!"

Jack followed him and hovered above the ground, toes barely touching the top of the grass. She was slightly out of breath, but she had quite a set of lungs. It had been one of her better practices though she knew very well when you weren't used to Beating, it could wear you down quickly like Andrew. She grinned widely at him. "Glad to!" She turned and shot after the rocketing Bludger and she hit it towards the nearest goal. It soared through and then she chased after it, whacking it left and then, with ninja-cat-like reflexes, hit it back to the right and then sent it flying forward.

Andrew sat on the grass and toke a few deep breaths to regain his steady breathing. After a while, he gained normal rate again and watched Jack. She was definietly a girl who was unlike all the others. He smiled and then continued to move his head as he watched her pelt the bludger away from the goalposts.

Jack flew underneath the Bludger and swung the bat upwards, sending the Bludger rocketing toward the sky. She flew after it and once she had gained, send it flying downwards. She paused and then dove after it. Just mere feet from the ground, she passed it and hit it across the field. She paused, panting slightly and held a thumbs up to Andrew. "Man, I think I'm getting old."
