Learning to fly...again

Jack felt a whoosh of air as Andrew sped the Firebolt at top speed. She raised an eyebrow. Oh, it was on. She sped under him and put on a burst of speed when she was a few feet beneath him. She shot upwards, blocking his path and hoping to make him drop the Quaffle.

Andrew had seen this coming. He kicked his broomstick to the left and did a small 360 around Jack. He leaned forward so he could go faster and he then did someone else might not have done. He jumped off his broom so it wouldn't hit the goalposts and he then held the ball in one hand strecthing out to the loop. He then 'slammed' it through the goalpost and then held onto the goalpost for dear life. "Thats how we do things in NYC!" he said laughing

Jack burst into laughter and could not help but clap for him "Okay, okay, that was good." She smirked and chased down the Quaffle. Gripping it between her knees she sped over to the hoop and began circling Andrew. "Now there is only the problem of being stranded fifty feet up in the air, with hostile enemies circling." She grinned, putting on an evil smile. "Mwa ha ha!"

"Not a problem!" he said and then whistled for his broom. IT was a worthless effort, but he did it just to be funny. He accio'd his broom nonverbally afterwords and his broom came right back towards him. He let go of the goalpost, having that fear of plummeting to the ground again, but was stopped by his broom. Now he had to get the quaffle. He stood up on his broom again and looked towards Jack. "Alright I'm gonna need that ball you have there!" he said nonchalantly and smiling

She shook her head, grinning. "Not a chance!" She turned hard and sped towards the opposite end of field, swerving slightly, knowing that it would be more difficult to for Andrew to follow her standing up like that. She turned her broom and flew backwards, making a face at Andrew. She wheeled around quickly, bent flat against her broom, and shot off towards her hoops.

Andrew watched as she flew fast towards his goal. Damn. He immediatly dropped down into the right position to fly a broom and sped off fast. He leaned forward to catch up to her. He was almost ready to get in front of her as well. "Give up the ball now and I'll be easy on you!" he taunted smiling

Jack glanced back at him and could see it on his face; he was getting ready to block her just the way she blocked him. Her mind reeled as she tried to figure out her options, but the reaction just came naturally. She shouted "Never!" She flew straight up, climbing ten feet, twenty, thirty, fifty...

Andrew grinned in a sly way as she climbed up in altitude. She was up to something. He didn't want to give her the satisfaction of scoring against him, so he continued flying towards the goal. He then hovered in front of the 3 posts and continued to watch Jack soaring higher.

Jack leveled out and then stopped midair, peering downwards. She cursed in her head but kept a cool exterior. She began circling above Andrew, hoping to psych him out while she bought herself some time. Shrugging, she decided to go for it. She turned downwards and shot downwards, straight up and down, knees gripping the broom as hard as possible and the Quaffle under her right arm.

She was located behind Andrew; he would be in her way when she would take her shot. She kept this position until she was ten feet about him. She corkscrewed quickly, dodging Andrew and hurling the Quaffle towards the hoops.

She flew downwards and pulled up quickly, turning her head to see if she had scored.

Andrew had been thinking the time while she was circling him. He thought of every strategy that could possibly be thought of and wondered if she would try what he had done a little bit ago. He pushed himself back and awaited for the chance for jack to try and get past him. He knew it. He watched as she roamed right past him, and Andrew immediatly turned back. He had no time to grab it, but he kicked the wuaffle away from the goal just in time for it to not sink in. He was just about ready to gloat, when the quaffle ripped right through one of the spectator stands banners. He then flew back a little and then scratched his head. "You did it," he said
