Welcome to Potter's Army

And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Caelani reluctantly entered the Hogwarts Graduation and sat as far back as she could. She had a bad feeling about this whole enterprise.

Post by Khaat Lupin Fri Jun 25, 2010 11:47 pm

Khaat felt that familiar old tingle that she always felt when Rob was near as she spoke to Vincent. That bloody bond she had with him was going off so strongly it gave her goosebumps under the long, elegantly tailored sleeve of her green silk dress. It unnerved her. He was here. She was positive. And if he was here, then so was Jen. The way she figured it, Jen would have orchestrated a breakout, and would have refused to leave Rob behind. Rob would not have started a breakout. He wasn't as skilled as she was in those matters, and, frankly, Khaat didn't see him being that ambitious about anything that didn't directly tie to money. Her thoughts went for a moment to how angry she was with him and how many evil things she wanted to do to him. Jen was another matter. She had no ill will towards her.

Suddenly there was Eli in front of her, and two adults introducing themselves as his parents. She looked at the woman and then at Viktor. The moment her eyes met his, she knew it was Rob. So that meant the woman was Jen. This was a new low for them. Kidnapping a minor. She looked at them both to let them know she knew exactly who they were. For a brief moment, she had thoughts of blowing the whistle on both of them. Vincent still had the best auror skills of anybody she knew, and she felt sure he could more than handle them both, easily. However, obviously Fauve was being used as the reason for Eli's silence, and Khaat would not risk any chance of harm to Eli's beautiful little girl.

"So nice to meet you, Mrs. Krum," she said. "And Viktor. I haven't seen you in a long time. It seems like years. Good to see you again. My husband, Mrs. Krum? It feels like he's always with me," she smiled sweetly. She clutched Eli's arm hard and snatched him away from Jen. "Pardon me, Vincent. I'll be right back. There's more room for us over here, Eli." She put herself between Eli and Jen and moved him over to an empty section of Gryffindor tables and sat down, pulling him down on the end seat so it would force Rob and Jen to either sit across from them or next to her.

Andrew looked around still, after walking away from the 2. So many people were arriving and so many were going to be leaving for good as well. HE sighed and then walked around the crowd to see if he could find anyone. He finally found Sophia and smiled brightly. "Hey!" he said to her "Congratulations!"

The facade was already driving Jen insane and Rob was a stone statue. Elijah was having a mental breakdown inside his own head and the way he was turning the charcoal over in his hands was beginning annoy her. Jen watched as Khaat led Elijah away and internally groaned. Clearly the facade was over but she could still pretend to be the wench that Eli called ‘mother’. Rob wasn’t entirely useless. He could have broken out but he would have done it in his own time were as she was just impatient and wanted out. She glared at Khaat’s retreating back and looked at Rob who was still standing stoically. Jen through herself against his rather large, newly Quidditch toned chest and reached up to peck her ‘husband’ on the lips. Rob fed her a bit of information through his Leglimens and she cast a wary but guarded eye over to the table Khaat had led Elijah to.

“And you wonder why I don’t like your soon to be ex-wife?” she hissed through gritted teeth. “She knows everything like her insufferable father and would you find an emotion other than indifference please?” Jen rearranged her robes before sauntering off to the refreshments table with a passing remark of, “You’re depressing me.”
----
Rob ran Viktor’s nimble hand through the dark locks that Eli had obviously inherited and looked around the room. He was about a head higher than normal which was really quite odd for him. He watched Jen disappear out of the door and rolled his eyes before making his way over to where Elijah and Khaat were sat. He sat down opposite the teen. “Are you alright, son?” Rob asked, eyeing the teen and not missing the beat. Elijah nodded and lifted his sketch book onto the table. Rob let it go for a moment and looked over his shoulder. He spotted Narcissa stood with a woman and another man near the door but Jen was gone wherever she’d disappeared to. She was just trying to make things difficult for him wasn’t she?

Rob quickly got sick of the awkwardness of the situation and gestured for Eli to stand up. The boy rose slowly from the seat and walked around the table. Rob sat him down in his own chair and poured the boy a glass of wine. He leaned down to his ear and murmured, “Relax, everything is fine. I have it all under control.” before nodding to Khaat and striding away in the direction Jen had walked in. He vaguely saw Eli shake his head in his peripheral vision but he couldn’t have been sure. He did, however, see the boy pick up the glass of wine which was a good sign. But where had Jen gone?

Narcissa raised a cold eyebrow and scowled at Ne’Os. “Manners.” She warned. He may have been female and ‘all knowing’ but he still needed to respect his elders regardless of everything else. She glanced over at the table James was sat at and then flicked over to Majere who was really starting to irritate her now. There was only so much tedious socialising that one could manage before they backhanded teenagers pretending to be women. Narcissa pinched the bridge of her nose and looked at Ne’Os when he spoke again. “I don’t see why it concerns you Miss Emof.” She teased. “It does have yet to be determined though.” She said carefully. “Do you want anything to drink, gentlemen? I’m about to make my way over to the refreshments table.”

Julia giggled as a pair of hands covered her eyesight. She automatically knew who this individual was. "Hey Arthur!" She quickly turned around and threw her arms around him, embracing him tightly. "Thank you and congratulations!" Julia smiled and kissed Arthur strongly. "You look very handsome. I just can't believe you're graduating, no more classes together next year" She frowned at the thought. She wouldn't be able to see Arthur as much as she would like; nonetheless she would make time for him. But still... another year of school.

Julia looked up as she heard that familiar voice that she loved. She recognized Elijah, her eyes lighting up. "Hey, let's go say hello to Elijah!" She said to Arthur. Eli was her best friend, and it has been a while since Julia had a decent conversation with him. She took Arthur's hand and walked over to Elijah. "Excuse me, sir," Julia said, standing behind him, "I believe you forgot to say hello to someone, pack mule" She laughed and gave Eli a hug.

Thaor watched in amusement as Narcissa and Ne'Os, for lack of a better term, bickered.
Thaor Elldir said Thaor when Narcissa said his name slipped her mind. Thaor watched as Narcissa slipped a note into her robes. this could be fun Thaor thought to himself. He attempted to look into Narcissa's mind, but to his dismay, couldn't. Keeping your mind closed eh? Thaor said with a slight chuckle to Narcissa.

Just some pumpkin juice if you would. No alcohol, not yet. Thaor said, with a look that hopefully Narcissa would pick up meant, we need to be ready, and at the top of our skill.

Thaor turned to Ne'Os, So how have you been Natalie? It truely has been ages!

"Eli," Khaat said very softly, "Where is Fauve? Is she alright?" She noticed how shaken Eli had become being with Rob and Jen,a nd she reached over and laid her hand on his to ease him. "I am not afraid of either of them. When they come back, I don't care what they tell you, don't do it. Stay here. The more people you are around, the less control they can have without the risk of being discovered. And you lose any bargaining power you have if you let yourself go off alone with them. Don't let yourself be taken off by them for any reason. I'm not sure what in the world they're up to yet, but you aren't going to help yourself or anyone else by cooperating with them. I'm not entirely sure I get it. If I were them, this would be the very last place I would show up. Did they tell you anything helpful?"
